Not shooting well and only 4 assist up by one at Boston. It’s an L in my calendar but I hope they wake up in the 2nd half.

And we added all those shooters this year to apparently assist Dame and CJ. I feel positive. How bout you?!
First half was a grind...see who has fresh legs in the 2nd half...I'd say we probably do given that Toronto game they played last night

Moe needs to pull Nurk aside and give him some lessons on how to be tough when necessary.

Stotts adjustment tell his 2 guards get other involved. I have noticed when Dame face a elite guard he try to make a point who is the better player but the bad thing it not good for the rest of the team to get in a rhythm.

halftime and Portland looked kind of dumb on a lot of possessions. Great defensive effort by Harkless and Aminu though

blazers have 4 assists on 16 shots...that's putrid and the eyeball test tells me Portland is not putting enough effort into running their offense....thus the 36% shooting

Dame & CJ have combined for 22 points on 23 shots, while adding a combined 1 assist and 2 turnovers. That's Portland's 56M/year duo not getting it done

all that bad and the Blazers are up by 1. If they could get back to their strengths, they win this game

Tight first half. Blazers have the lead and while it's been a dogfight, it hasn't felt like the Blazers have lost control. Blazers made a lot of senseless mistakes. The paint has been open for the Blazers, but they haven't taken advantage. Pound the ball to Nurk and Enes inside. Don't make this a three point contest. Gotta come out strong to start the 3rd. Attack! Attack!

Lost me after the first 2 words of that post. What are these 'Stotts adjustments' you speak of?

Horford's aggressiveness is getting to Nurk.

What I'm seeing is, when the Blazers get the ball inside, there is too much hesitation and the defense is allowed to get set. Gotta throw it in there and go straight up.

The Blazers do not convert very well on live ball turnovers. They are leaving a lot of points out there that should be easy buckets.

And right there. Having Nurk face away from the ball for off ball screens instead of getting the ball inside hurts the Blazers offense.
