Do you think the Blazers will win over 5 games in a row this season?

On 3 hrs of sleep, still juiced.

Can't believe how easily he amassed all those stats. I think he can legit be a 20/10/5 guy in a few yrs.

Good Lord. What a stroke of luck. Please universe, take care of his knees!

Portland sports radio is trash. How is it that these dudes on 620 are going on and on about Cleveland football after that performance?

And they have the gall to call themselves Rip City Radio.
There's a reason that most of the long-time listeners to that show have abandoned it over the past 6 months.

Where should I go? I listen online. Nurk has me reinvigorated about this season. Need Blazer coverage.
Sadly, there aren't many options. 1080 also has an online stream, but they talk Blazers even less than the 620 guys do--because they make a point of being the "all-sports" station--and when they do talk Blazers, they seem to pride themselves on not being homers/fans to the point of constantly being debbie-downers. At least their morning show has come out anti-tank.

Guess this is why podcasts are so hot these days. Unfortunately, this is where on-demand comes short when something big happens and podcasts can't be real time.

But after that kinda big performance, with the fan base noticeably buzzing, these guys are fucking tone deaf. How the hell do you spend a good 20-30 mins talking about NFL trades in this market?

Morons running (and ruining) sports radio.

The reason Taylor Danforth left 620 was the bosses told him to talk less Blazers, and more football and more Oregon State athletics (because they're the Beavers' station).

Tho it was a national show, the show before was whining about ESPN having a "leftist" ideology, instead of talking sports. Got old real quick

Last time a midseason trade brought the team such great benefits? Well, Houston got Clyde...

But no more painful memories. Don't look now but the Blazers seem to be on a roll lately!

I really want to make playoffs now. Before with Plumlee I just didnt see the future and I liked Plumlee, but now that we have a low post presence and legit third scorer (not to mention good rebounder and defender), really want to see him and the rest grow even if it will be most likely a sweep against Golden State. Fuck tanking now, lets let Nurkic learn playoff ball.
I only want to be in the playoffs if there is a promise that Myers Leonard won't play. Sign a guy out of the D-league to take his place.

He won't gain trade value in the D league...for all who want Meyers gone, you should hope he beasts before off season and boosts his value around the league

The best thing about Nurkic so far is that he seems to relish "playing big."

My only real worry is that I really hope he's not just on some short-term FU tour to show up Denver and that he regresses back to the mopey, disengaged, unprofessional baby that he was there.

Nurk had one monster game last night and Crabbe had a good game coming off the bench. But what I didn't see is intensity with other guys. The rest team didnt raise there game to Nurk game like I would like to see. Yea Dame got his points and CJ got his point. It was like the team except for Nurk play like they did all season like peaks and valleys.

How long, though, do you think that'd last? I can't imagine for too long... 1-2 games maybe.

That being said, with professional athletes the "jab" always seems to last longer, and I do have that worry too.

Jusef has been our best player lately. This game was only close because Damian stunk it up. Damian really needs to learn how to be more efficient or he'll never be a star.

I can't believe people have just sailed on past this......

or he'll never be a star

El.... oh..... El.

Yeah..I get the Sabos references. Watching Nerk play last night, I flashed back to a young Sabos when he had knees..very similar play style. Give him a three ball, and he would be a duplicate

Btw I noticed after the game when Brooke interviewed Nurk the whole arena could hear it. Was that always happening with players interviews after games?
