This is definitely ours.
I want Kanter to continue the trend from the last game of protecting the rim better and not sticking to his man at all costs like he sometimes tends to do. But, even if he does, I want us to find minutes for both Zach Collins And Meyers Leonard, they both earned minutes and until Kanter thoroughly improves on defense they're still the better players

Ikr, how Stotts is just taking Zach and Meyers minutes and just giving them to Kanter is baffling ! It's not like the man has yet to lose as a Blazer or anything like that !

Besides the Toronto game, this will probably be the toughest for us. I can only imagine how bad our Blazers want to be at home in their own beds. I hope Terry is writing on the chalk board, "Take care of business!".

This is the first time we have faced Memphis without Gasol, correct? How has Nurk played vs. Valicusence (that is how I pronounce it)?

I hope Hood has another double digit scoring game, probably 15 +- 2. I think CJ is going to be the key tonight. Dame will sink one from the logo again, I imagine, but Conley will lock him down for the most part. We need our bench and roll players to come up big for us. Calling Mo Harkless!!!

Cool. I disagree with a few of your stances Bones, this is just gonna be one of them. DON'T GET MAD.
I was just trying to help you with the pronunciation, jeez.

Trap game maybe? The guys are tired with this long road trip and can’t wait to get home.

I hope the Blazers take these games seriously. Memphis almost beat OKC in OKC and NOP just beat Utah. Some of these teams with no way to make the playoffs may seem like easy wins against tanking teams, but the players are definitely not playing to tank and now that there is nothing to play for they can play carefree and win some games they shouldn't win.
If teams are tanking they sure not playing like it so you must take every team serious.

I don't think he was asking though--was just stating how he chose to pronounce it.
I read it like "That is how I pronounce it?" as if he was asking. Still a very weird reaction.

Tonight is a huge game. I really don't like the first game back after a long East coast road trip. The Blazers often get blown out in those games. (Ironically a couple times by Memphis) So it would be nice to get the win tonight just in case. And hope Paul George is out on Thursday.

I agree that a win tonight is important. Can't let any of them to lower tier teams slip away. I don't think that there's any chance that they don't get up for the Thunder game Thursday, though. I'd be concerned if it was reversed and they were playing the Thunder tonight and the Grizzlies at home on Thursday.

Note to the Blazers: Please don’t play stupid and give Memphis some life. Finish them early please.

Looking at their schedule as of late it doesn't look like anyone is putting the Grizz away early at their place. It would be nice, but they seem to be playing very competitively, despite their record.

In the case of Memphis, I heard that they actually don't want to tank because they owe their pick to Boston if it's outside the top-8. If it doesn't convert this year then it goes to top-6 next year and unprotected in 2021 so the thinking is that they want to give it to Boston this year so they don't have that owed pick looming over them when they do start their full rebuild in the off-season. The 9th spot would be ideal for them since if they moved up into the top-4 they'd gladly keep their pick and then give it to Boston if not but unfortunately for them with New Orleans upsetting a couple playoff teams this week it's going to be hard for Memphis to move down any further than the 8th pick. Worst case scenario for them would be to get the 8th pick and have to keep it. I guess if they finish 8th there is a chance a team behind them could move up bumping them down to 9. On the flip side it would be hard for them to move any higher than 6th if they did go full tank mode so they might as well just play normal.

@ThePosterFormerlyKnownAsTheHCP Question: What makes you guys decide which intro at the top of the hour you use? (I.E. for this 5 o'clock tip.. the 5 o'clock open)... I meant to ask you or Curtain when I was in the truck but forgot.

Conley coming to the blazers. You saw him and Dame talking about teaming up.
