With the addition of Nurkic to our squad, which side of the ball has the Blazers improved more in?

Okay I get what you are saying and that's usually how I look at it when it's a missed foul like Dames where we end up losing. I just think this is a different situation
Yep, and I don't. Somewhere in the game we got a break we shouldn't have....probably. This one just happened at the end. It doesn't really make it more important. The first 2 points of the game are no less important that the last 2

That play might not have triggered a review, but it sure triggered all of Rip City

At least the NFL replacement refs were entertaining. This group of idiots are just.....sad.

Bedtime. Goodnight.

Sigh....

Hidden in this loss is a good lesson for everyone to learn from that will come in handy if they scrape out enough wins to make it to the playoffs. CJ said it best himself "You can't let people come back". If this team wants to win a championship they are going to have to learn to play with a lead, something that has been the bane of our entire season. Maybe this time the lesson will stick.

The problem with this game is the 1st half we play team ball and CJ got hot. The 2nd we started going one on one to much by our guards. Due to turnover and miss shots and lack of defense. That when the Wizards crawl back in the game. We did have 9 point lead around 5 minutes left in the game. That when again our guards started this isolation game that they have done all year. It does get tiring to watch or listen too. This is the coach fault because he not managing the game or managing his players. Yes the refs had a big impact on the game at end and due there miss calls it also made a lose the game. You think this team would learn from previous games but they don't and I have seen this all year long and majority of the time we are on losing side.

I will be waiting for all the people attacking me for saying the same thing to send CJ some harshly worded tweets.

Yes

Here is Meyers' tweet. It's not rude or passive aggressive or any of the things some of you are saying it was. He deleted the tweet not because of what he said but because if the angry and stupid replies he was getting.

Post for post, this might have been the most entertaining game thread this year. The ups and downs were fun to read.

nurk just get in foul trouble? i was gonna watch the replay but dont think ican deal...

I think almost equally as frustrating as the non-call at the end is Stotts lack of control of the offense. The fact that Nurkic ended up with 3 fucking shots the entire game is both unacceptable and putrid. The offense should go through Nurk at least 80% of the time. He gets everyone better shots, hence higher percentages. I don't like the one on one and hero ball being put forth by the guards. This is more on Stotts than it is the guards however.

Also, DAMNIT very very select blazer fans - why did you have to throw stuff on the court? Who are we? PHILLY?

We have a reputation to uphold here!

This is how we know we deserve a lottery pick.

This year is pointless

This is true. I have never seen a soccer mom throw something at a ref
