Wouldn't have been 5/18 if the goaltending was called.
6/18? Still pretty pitiful. Next step in Dame's development is understanding that when he's off, he needs to stop forcing shots and instead create more for others while getting to the line. He's veering way to close to bad AI territory with these bad chucking nights. Didn't catch this game so I can't say too much about shot selection, but as a whole this season, some of his shot attempts just make you shake your head. Some nights, his decision making is absolutely perfect, while others he looks like a rookie forcing. Consistency needs to come soon.

Seeing as you didn't see the game, we'll just leave it at that.

Yes missing 1 game out of 65 means a lot.

There's a fine balance between baseless nitpicking and legit concerns. And clearly some people here don't understand it. Soccer moms, forreal.

You can't say he had bad shot selection(Or "forcing shots") when you didn't see the game, that's what I'm saying.

With all the internet coverage, actually you can get a pretty clear picture of a game and read articles by guys who did watch the game. Watch highlights by the half or hell....some folk record it and watch it later. We talk about Westbrook or other players performances in lots of games we don't watch from start to end. Msg boards are split like the USA...red states and blue states. The thing folks haven't grasped is that being loud doesn't mean you're right! Dame was just voted player of the week recently, has been a huge factor in our success this season and if his shot is off on the road in a back to back game, it's not the end of the world. From what I read, the Wiz came out of the gate and knocked us down repeatedly from which we never quite recovered. It happens.

Like most players say after losses, you have to credit the Wizards for winning. They beat us on their home court.

Unfortunately, I have watched most of Westbrooks games. lol.

I hear what you're saying, but for the most part, those 'highlights' are skewed towards a certain angle.

And if people have recorded it to watch it later, IMO, they should reserve judgement until they themselves have watched the game. Something I'm sure yuzua (Sorry, totally butchered it) would do.

Lillard is the most overrated player I've seen in 40 years. He is consistently a piece of shit. Batum is inconsistently the same. In the 4th quarter, Batum had one spectacular steal, then a couple of minutes later a lazy turnover followed on the next play by a boneheaded lazy foul, then a couple of long long misses, then went quiet for half a quarter licking his wounds. Batum, who plays like Joe Cool would, is all ups and downs, mostly downs.

:biglaugh:

I think his only play was getting a technical. He had to do something to turn things around around. We were getting screwed left and right. And the technical was only 1 point. A risk worth taking.

I never did see the replay of Nic's 3 point shot that he missed but looked to be run over. That was a huge play in that sequence as well.

Never been a fan of John Goble or Tony Brown.
We were down 9 with two minutes to go when he got that tech. How does going 10 turn things around? Bad technical foul.

You argued that it was a costly technical. If we were down 9 minutes with two minutes to go, how was it that costly?
At that point I would argue he had nothing to lose. Plus lets not forget that he stepped in to save his player from getting the T instead and a possible ejection, which would have been a lot more costly. The smart play was to have his player's back. IMO it was a smart technical.
