Please don’t quote that dumbass in here - there’s nothing that comes out of his mouth that makes any sense - just typical NBA jargon like “we played hard” or “they made more shots than we did” blah blah blah. At one point I actually liked your post when you said you were rooting for Stotts to succeed. I really wanted to agree with you but I just couldn’t bring myself to root for this clown. Not after 8 years of this shit. I wanted him gone after the first year and was hoping he was just a stop gap until the team hired a qualified coach. Little did I know that Neil’s plan all along was to keep this idiot in the fold. God, I miss Paul Allen. He wouldn’t put up with this shit and probably would’ve encouraged Neil to fire him. If this is what you get with “one of the better coaches in the NBA” like all his fanboys keep telling us, God help us all.
Not an actual Stotts quote.
Made up way before game ended.

Game 65 and Stotts still hasn't instructed his team how to get back on defense?

There's no excuse for continually being beat down court for an easy bucket.

Settling for jumpers when they're not falling and not playing defense.

Same fucking bullshit.

As a fan, this is a big part of what is grinding me down. Is anybody actually coaching this team? How many times do they have to hit the iceberg before the notion of a course change becomes acceptable?

This year, I'm with you.

Still have a lot of optimism for next year though.

I think so as well. Health will be a big part of that. Then get the absolute best Draft pick you can because obvously there is a need for more talent. To help accomplish that, play the hell out of Ant/Trent/Little/Gabriel/Swanigan and even Mario. Stop playing Little at the '4' and give these guys some real run . Let them make mistake and find out what you really might have.

It's not like it would be much worse than the effort the starters gave in the last two games but yet you would be accomplishing so much more for the long run.

So now you want to take the hatchet to Lillard? Wow?

The injury excuses is so lame. Dame, cj, Melo, and Whiteside should be more than enough to secure a playoff spot. If Okc, Memphis, can get it done then this squad should be in. Winning in the regular season is about doing the basics and little things right. So many times this season I saw the blazers lose to lesser teams or blow close games due to lack of urgency and fire. I’m sorry no way this team should be at 28 wins. I’m afraid this dame era is just getting played out.

One might say you've been banging the anti-Stotts drum all year and therefore you look to point out anything negative and associate it to theh coach, therefore you have bias.

Likewise, someone could say the opposite about me, and that would be my bias.
I must say- You are very patient.

Keep going. You can even triple down on this if you like? Quadruple? Nobody stopping you. Heck you can start a "Trade Lillard" thread if you want.

I figure we can only lose 4 or 5 more games going forward. I don't think we'll get it done.
Yeah they gotta at least be a .500 team is what i have been thinking. I pretty much lost my faith after the Atlanta loss. This one has them too far out now.

Tough to watch. Not much to root for right now.
The Blamers/Flamers are out in full force.

Being a Blazer fan is like riding a big pendulum. Never fear they will come back and the team will play well again. They always do. Been 7 years since they missed the playoffs. I highly doubt they will go 5 years straight again. Though they might go 2?

It's a waste of time to talk to these guys Aldo. They so in blind love with Dame that every critism is automaticly hate. You're also not allowed to mention when he plays terrible. Fact is, a Team with Dame and CJ healthy for the most part of the season shouldn't be this bad, we all know the injurys are just an excuse, because Whiteside, even though he was pretty bad the last couple of games, has done a solid job throughout the Season as Nurkic replacement. Collins is never ever the difference between a HCA Team and Lottery Team, and even with Hood healthy the Blazers have been pretty bad. Imo, a team with Lillard as the best player will not win a Championship, Lillard is more like a 1b Star, he needs a real 1a superstar like Kawhi, Lebron, Giannis, Durant, Steph, Davis etc
