This is the most important game of the season so far, in my opinion. This will tell us if the Blazers are potential contenders or just first-round fodder. The team just came off a very successful road trip that ended with a bad taste. If they are truly ready to make some noise in the Western playoff race, they'll put the Memphis loss behind them and mop the floor with the Thunder. OKC has lost 6 of their last 8, and Paul George's shoulder injury is a big part of that, but they were on the skids before he left. That being said, their record is still no joke and a win against them at this point of the season would be huge for playoff seeding. Looking past the Thunder, the Blazers have some very winnable games and could possibly not lose again until San Antonio on the 16th. If they can beat the Spurs, they have a real possibility of running the table until the Denver back-to-back, but history says they'll probably drop 2 or 3 games they SHOULD win.
Contender: the Blazers win tonight in a blowout.
Pretender: the Blazers lose by high single digits and fingers are being pointed in the post game.
