I never complained about Nurkics mpg, I complain about things like this... I know Ed Davis is having a great year and he deserves recognition, but when the coach prefers Ed Davis to Nurk in certain situations with no reason at all, sorry but I cant go past that... like I said, I found it disrespecting to Nurk

Nurk can cheer with the guys on the bench etc, but Im sure hes not happy when he sits the entire 4th quarter just cause coach prefers some other player... THERE WAS NO REASON TO SIT HIM THE ENTIRE 4TH QUARTER, NO REASON WHATSOEVER!

Thank God Nurk's head seems to be on straighter than yours.

GSW, HOU, SAS, MIN & OKC are all better teams than POR

GSW, HOU, SAS shouldnt even be in the discussion, but SAS it not as good without Kawhi, but they have Pop, so they could very well finish above us, but its not for granted... they had other injury problems too, but Kawhi is the main one!

OKC has Westbrook and PG13 and lets be honest, theyre better than Dame and CJ... there was a lot of our fans who wanted Carmelo here, but hes there... according to many NBA fans, Roberson is the best defender in the NBA this season , but he had season ending injury... Adams is doing great in the role thats given to him... sorry, but Westbrook-PG13-Carmelo-Roberson-Adams is better than Dame-CJ-Harkless-Aminu-Nurk... they have a clown for a head coach, so they didnt figured it out, now its to late and they have very tough schedule!

MIN has Jimmy Buckets-KAT-Wiggins-Teague-Gibson and thats better than Dame-CJ-Harkless-Aminu-Nurk... prior to Jimmys injury, they were couple of games ahead of us and despite our winning streak, we wouldnt be able to catch them, cause theyd win games too

SAS lost Kawhi, MIN lost Jimmy, how about we lose Dame and see where we end up, eh...

Injuries happen. That's part of sports. Nobody is going to give us the trophy because Wes went down a few years back. Heck, give us a few trophies because Roy and Oden shouldn't have been injured. The games are played with the players that can play. No excuses.

We're 3rd seed. We're kicking ass. These Blazers are balling out of their mind beating teams 'that are better than them'. The Blazers are 3rd seed good, and just beat the 2nd seed team pretty handily. Enjoy the ride!

I have gotten on Stotts for a long time and have questioned him and his rotations, thought process etc.

Right now he's making all the right moves. He's calling timeouts when they need to be (like when it got down to only being up 7, etc), and learning to leave players in who are better in that moment or situation (I.E. Ed Davis last night and also with the Lakers). Props to him for keeping Davis in and realizing the amazing value those extra possessions got us. (At least 8-10 points in the second half, which were the difference to separate us during the run)

Makes me feel better about him. He should adjust some things and keep his job. There ain't many like it.

The Warriors had their full roster the last time the Blazers beat them. The Blazers weren’t playing as well earlier in the season.

Maybe if we would have "figured it out" earlier". I realize we are going through a nice stretch right now where most games are at home. That won't last. But if we would have played better at home earlier or maybe won a few more close games earlier, then yeah maybe.

You mentioned in some post that our bench sucks, well it did and so did our starters at times (not named Dame or CJ)....including your boy with his unforced turnovers and rushed shots.

They are playing better now, and quite frankly coached better, which includes who is playing more in the 4th. Add the fact that our #1 pick has inevitably improved as the season has gone along, which often occurs with young players, and the fact the rotation is getting more settled, the result is better overall play. Better D, better shots, and less stupid turnovers.

Having said all that, teams 3-8 are all a crapshoot. Winning the first series is still 50/50 IMO.

now let me put something into perspective

I dont believe were 3rd seed good when all teams are healthy, thats 82 games and a lot of teams, but I do believe we could beat MIN & OKC in the series even if theyre healthy and if OKC figured it out... Im not saying we would, but wed have a chance, like 7 game series

OKC looks like a good matchup, we always beat them and when it comes to MIN, we won some, we lost some... that would be a bloodbath
