This is truly absurd. Look, if you want to nitpick, Ed had a better game than Nurk. Same points on fewer shots. More rebounds per minute. Much more offensive rebounds per minute. More steals. More assists. More blocks. Fewer turnovers. Nevertheless, Nurk had a fine game. But you have managed to turn a great win into a controversy between Nurk and Ed, between Nurk and the coach. Rewarding Ed does not equal dissing Nurk.

I meant both. We're 3rd seed good AND we're taking advantage of situations like a good 3 seed would.

It can be both, not one or the other. I'd rather take advantage of situations because we're good enough to then lose because we couldn't when we're good enough to... wouldn't you?

I tend to agree. There's a difference between pretending contact existed where it didn't, and choosing not to resist the natural effect of contact that did actually happen and legitimately should be a foul. Why should Nurkic be penalized for being strong enough to hold up against actions which, if performed against another player, would easily meet the "to and through" criteria? Should opposing players be allowed to slam significantly harder into certain defenders just because they're bigger?

But whining is always whining. How bout we do our best to take whining out of the game.

Bottom line, it's s contact sport. And by rule marginal contact and incidental contact is not illegal contact.

Nurk flops in a bunch of marginal contact situations.

sure...why not? we're playing the best defense we've played in the modern era...I'll put Dame up against any superstar in the league to will an endgame victory...it's actually a really fun season because of the talent movement in the NBA....we missed Nurk in the playoffs last season with that broken leg...would've made a big difference...every team faces this issue

youre heading into the wrong direction... I never said we cant win a game against GSW, SAS, HOU etc, Im saying we wouldnt be 3rd seed if all teams were healthy

If all the teams were healthy at this point in the season it would probably be the first time in NBA history. Injuries ARE a part of the game. That’s why I find it tiresome when, in the first half of the season, some fans get down and want to start tanking. It’s the best healthy team at the end of the season that wins the title, not the best roster on day 1.
