Our D has really dropped off the last two weeks. We are't showing the same hustle nor commitment to it we did during our win streak. Wonder if we are just mentally exhausted and have hit a wall. Also might have something to do with our D forcing mid range and teams are just knocking them down at a very high clip the last two weeks as well.

Don't look so down on that, a 14th pick in this draft we would be lucky to even get a rotation player out of the deal plus we wouldn't have a pick to dangle in deals next year, something that if the rumors at the trade deadline are true then just about every team caresmore about picks then young talent atm.

The spurs are much better then us, they are a historically good team, I dont' get why some people act shocked or try and point out how much better they are then us. We shoulnd't beat them or GS on the road, there are reasons NO TEAM has beaten the spurs or warriors are home this year.

Because this year, Portland will barely make the Playoffs. By next year, their young players will be better and more experienced plus with what they add, the pick they give up should be much worse. You would much rather give up a pick in the 20's than be a couple losses from being in the Lottery.

For what though? Aminu's not bad having at his contract but the lack of depth behind him seems to be a big problem. We have no true SF on this roster other then him really. I'd love to have Aminu as a 20-25m player not 30+.

Hassan Whiteside is something like 54 for his last 63 or something like that from the foul line after struggling all year. If he can shoot FTs to go with his shot-blocking and rebounding, that might not be a bad get. It would have to have a team option or something due to the lack of longevity in production.

I'm not sure, but he's too dumb to play. I'd rather develop Pat, than play Aminu.
