Have you forgiven Aldridge for defecting to the Spurs?

Duncan, Parker, Ginobli...and? All three of them are role players at this point - very good role players, but role players none the less.
Do you even know what a role player is? That was a term used back on Jordan's teams. Rodman played the role of rebounder. Craig Hodges was the long ball shooter. Specialty players that know their role. Parker, Manu, and Duncan are more than that even though their numbers are down.

You Forgot Aldridge who will be a HOF inductee and so will Leonard.

I just fucking love it! The Blazers will not QUIT EVER!

Why is that good? The NBA season is a long marathon trying to sprint in the middle of it slows you down more than it speeds you up.

Popovitch is getting scared

Terrible substitutions by Stotts. Plays our starters heavy minutes in a blowout loss on the start of a back to back and 3 in 4 nights.

He starts Noah Vonleh for the entire season but won't give our best players much need rest. Makes zero sense.

I can't say I blame him. The Blazers need to quicken his learning curve as much as possible.

What the hell was that Tony parker travel, he picked the ball up and stumbled like 5 steps sideways, no whistle

From what I've seen I don't think there's much difference in the talent between:
West / Davis
Martin / Crabbe
Ginobli / Henderson
Anderson / Harkless
Even Mills / Roberts

Obviously Kawhi eats Aminu's lunch, and likewise for LMA/Vonleh. Otherwise the talent level of Parker/Dame, Green/CJ, and Plumlee/Duncan isn't THAT huge. Yes, Duncan is the best PF to ever play, but he's been a role player for 3-4 years now - sound fundamentals and mid-range game are the only thing that separate him from Plumlee at this point.

Can't wait for LMA's HOF induction speech. "My years at Portland....." (sticks up middle finger.)

I think you're underestimating how much of an impact those things have. The problem with us, thanks to Stotts, is that we DON'T have roll players on this team. Everyone is trying to do different shit. PFs trying to be SG, SG playing PF, SF playing Center....it's fucking ridiculous. That's all on Stotts.

8 point loss and the Blazers made them play the entire game. Nothing to hang their heads over there.

If you told me this would be our record before the season, I'd have taken it.

Well, that's kinda my point. My original statement was that coaching was the reason the Spurs are so much better than us, not talent. While admitting that they are more talented...but not by as much as people seem to think.
