The corporate espionage is because hoops was all I'm a Detroit Pistons insider. Well but again you didn't really read it and missed the entire point.
Now who has a reading problem? I said you don't know what connections or experiences we have. You claim you know differently because you talk with a "source". How do you know other members of this forum don't have similar sources? I know for a fact that at least two posters on this board do indeed have some insider NBA connections.

And your stupid post about playgrounds, everyone knows everything you said about it being a business already so it's not some sort of special secret.

Step away from this thread for an hour and it goes places.

HoopsJock is a millennial?

Damn, I thought he was 40-something!

Maybe you just weren't clear, that's fine. But I can read just fine, and I've been nothing but polite with you, so there's no need to insult my reading ability.
Its time to end this discussion. I dont know if KJ is trying to be an antagonist on purpose or not, but his posts jump all over the place (at least in this thread).

From being an outside observer its probably better for hoops & you to let him be.

For KJ and I this goes back to our O-Live days.

Practically daily from the trade deadline to the start of free agency in 2017 someone would make a post about how they think we should pursue Blake Griffin in free agency or how they could see Olshey wanting to do a sign-and-trade for him. I continually pointed out how we were over the cap and near the luxury tax line making it impossible to sign him outright and virtually impossible to do a sign-and-trade (much like the Brogdon situation). After literally about 50 of these posts I started just copying and pasting a big response that basically addressed why it's silly for anyone to post that we're going to get him that summer. Well KJ started responding to my posts about how I don't know what Olshey is going to do and that there are ways for it to be possible. I kept asking him for an explanation as to why and he'd always come back with the we're just fan thing.

One day I started asking him directly if certain things are possible: KJ do we have the cap space to sign Griffin? No. KJ do you understand what we'd have to do to maneuver contracts around in order to do a sign-and-trade? Yes. Do you understand that Blake Griffin would actually have to also agree to sign here in free agency? Yes. Do you realize that the Clippers would then have to want something in return for him that covers his contract? Yes. So KJ how does that seem possible or something that is worth discussing when any of those steps is a long shot let alone all of them? You don't know what the Clippers would want or what the Blazers would be willing to do to get him.

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

@kjironman1 You just ranted how we think we're better than everyone else but now changing a few words in your post is supposed to excuse that? That's ridiculous.

I specifically took the time to prove my stance that it is indeed unrealistic and you came back that those were assumptions. You're explanation as to why you thought that way was off base and I explained why. Then you tried saying that you never disagreed with me to begin with.

After all that you then try to act like you are enlightened to the true NBA since you work for Kenny Carr and that we will likely never to be able to convince you we're more than just fans. Not that I care but I did logically prove my stance, just like I did with Blake Griffin 2 years ago.
Yeah. It's time.

Nah. Bro. It was a simple statement that you blew way out of proportion like you are here again. I stand by my original. "You do not know what Olshey is going to do".

jeeez

friday night people. go enjoy the weekend instead of bickering here. What is going on in this forum

Correct sir, I don't know what Olshey is going to do, nor have I claimed to know what he will do.

I do know a few things that he WON'T be doing this summer though. He won't acquire Malcolm Brogdon. Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Kyrie Irving, and Klay Thompson will all not be coming to Portland either. You can quote me on that.

Interesting that you left off Blake Griffin, Anthony Davis and LaMarcus Aldridge.

Let's see, two people engage in a discussion and then it escalates then along comes the ussual susspects to pile on Wash rinse repeat it's what happens when posters take no responsibility.

But the real question is.

What are the next powerball winning numbers?

Now that would be impressive.:bgrin:

They are not free agents, therefore the possibility exists of acquiring any of those 3. Thus why some players are realistic and others are unrealistic and you don't have to be Olshey to know that.

Oh great, another post that indicates not knowing the difference between realistic and unrealistic.

Getting Brogdon this summer is unrealistic. That statement doesn't mean I think I know everything or can predict the future. Funny how a basketball related post can be turned into something different. Both Bones and I agreed that Brogdon would be an excellent fit but that doesn't change the fact he's virtually impossible to acquire.

Thanks for interjecting though!

Oh great, another response that can't tell the difference between joking and serious.
Get a sense of humor dude as you and jonesy take yourselves way to seriously. It was a fucking joke!

Oh great, another response that claims they're just joking when their post gets called out for being bullshit.

now you are acting very foolish hjock. I will bow out and let you continue on your path of derailing another thread. Enjoy.

Since we started talking about SG's and in particular Brogdon you have 7 posts in this thread and not one of them contributed to the discussion taking place. I realize that this thread got derailed by KJ and I arguing but you certainly aren't the person to tell anybody about staying on topic.
