It will be interesting to see what the league does with Green. Paul was off balance and stumbling when Dieng "assisted" him to the floor. Even CP3 admits Dieng didn't really push him that hard. Plus, it happened during a live action scuffle for a loose ball. Green shoved Dieng into the crowd after the ball already was out of bounds.

Chris Paul seems to be lobbying for a fine and has offered to pay the fine for Green. Not sure how much missing Green would hurt HOU. He's been shooting poorly lately (.301 3FG% in the last 10 games hes played) and has received 3 DNPs in HOU's last 10 games. Still he was playing well at MIN prior to the ejection and losing him would hurt their depth.

BNM

Yet again, looks like we'll be facing a team without one of its stars.

Normally those types of things are done on the down low but I applaud your going public.
It's viral marketing for a new series. We haven't come up with a name yet though... If we make it big enough, maybe THE MRS will make an appearance.

Second kid; Dame's already been revealed to be Houston's daddy.

Or a children book. Maybe not. Definitely not (*).

(*) I always think of Sly as a lap dog (**), not a working herding dog.
(**) Denny is the white haired old lady in this scenario.

Yeah, you don't want Sly guarding your sheep. Sly is from a place where men are men and sheep are nervous.

Hope I'm wrong but I feel kind of pessimistic about this game. I feel like the Rockets have the exact kind of team and style of play that we don't match up well against.

I think two kinds of teams match up well against their small-ball slashing/3-point shooting style:
(a) Warriors type team, with a similar small ball lineup that can just outdo them at their own game. Better 3 point shooters, better defenders. Draymond and KD as their big men. Same-size players who can switch and still defend.
(b) Team with a punishing big man (Shaq-like) who can bully score in the paint and crush those midgets with offensive rebounds.

We have neither of those. Our big men are not efficient punishing scorers. Love Nurk and Ed, but they are not that. We have great interior defense, but I fear Nurk will get in foul trouble from the sheer number of drives. After that, our interior defense drops off with Ed and if we have to go to MyLe our interior D becomes non-existent. Our 3-point shooters are just not as efficient.

It's gonna take totally disciplined team game on D and O to beat them.

Personally, I've already chalked this game up as a loss. If it ends up that way, I won't be upset. If a win, I'll be elated.

Same here. I have a bunch of Rocket nephews in Houston to deal with too. They still can't bear to think or talk about Dame's 0.9 shot.

As to the poll I voted Stotts....think D'Antoni will win it but Nate McMillan probably deserves to be in the conversation after losing his franchise player and making the 3rd seed in the east
