With Nurk out, who should start at center?

We're in the playoffs not the lottery. So the goal is to go out there and win every game possible. So Stotts shouldn't be thinking about development right now. That being said I still want Zach starting and getting starters minutes (as much as fouls will allow).

Dunn and Lavine did not play today due to illness. Not sure if they play tomorrow but Go Blazers.

I think I'm on the opposite side of the general stance taken in this thread. I want to watch this game even more than usual. I want to see how we react, what changes we make, the overall vibe.

Yes, last night was like a punch to the gut. I've been to all of the heartbreaks over the last decade. Rudy, Oden, Wes, Nurk....I even saw Mutombo go down and retire. All of the minor setbacks that other players have suffered, too. You guys have either seen it at the games with me or on TV. You know what else we've seen? Some inspiring, ballsy, underdog performances that I'll never forget. The comebacks. The career-highs. The game-winners.

The recovery starts now. I'm with this team until we're eliminated, and I don't think we're going to just roll over and submit.

Play to win until we lose.
Great post Ace!

I'm betting the game tomorrow will be a slaughter. :(

Nothing could keep me from watching. Winning is great but in the end, I don't give a shit. This is my team and that's that. They give me a lot. I would like to think in another life that I would be a good teammate.

Uber rider told me Lillard isn’t playing tomorrow. Is this true?

I think Nards is gonna lay down some nasty dunks vs Chicago, and everyone will get pumped.

I would rotate all 3 (Kanter/Collins/Nards) all game long depending on flow, they all offer something different. Too bad Terry doesn’t have any feel for flow.

Whoops, Portland is ahead of Houston. Yep, we're actually in third place. Houston lost to the Bucks by 14 points last night.

I care. :bgrin:

I will go down to the very last second rooting this team on. There is still lots of experience to be gained and fighting a tough battle can make us tougher in the long run. I will apply a Portland Timbers motto. No Pity jn the Rose City. We battle on to the end.

We are Spartacus
No, I am Spartacus.

You can't even look forward to trying next year - we didn't just lose this playoff run, we've likely lost the whole next season. That's the worst part about this - I could suck it up for a month, but knowing that we're back to being hopeless all next winter really, really sucks.
They'll all be back next season.

They'll all be back next season.
Let’s hope you are right. But no a number of them will not be back. Have to clear a little space. Just no way to have this team again next year from the way it looks. To bad this year ended this way.

With that Bulls lineup, I would miss Nurk Beast Mode.

You think you are having a rough day art work......try going over 14 separates looks of Nurk’s injury in HD and aftermath and decideing whats safe to show the fans at home and whats not.......

Damn that would be brutal. And to think, I was just complaining to a co-worker about some idiot that cut me off on my lunch break.
