I guess this goes to show that Minnesota values Disney on Ice and hockey over basketball.

In looking at the schedules, I'm guessing the game will be played Sunday April 2nd or Monday April 3rd.

I'm wondering why it hasn't been announced yet.... There are no conflicts at the Target Center for those dates that I can see.

I just discovered this thread. Am I the only one who saw the game? Didn't any of you notice they changed the decision 30 minutes later? It was a great 4th quarter. Well you don't deserve to hear about it.

I think it is because the NCAA national championship game is on the 3rd. Usually the NBA doesn't schedule games to compete with that. Not sure why they haven't come out and confirmed that it will be on the 2nd.

Seems silly that it's not on the 2nd.

Interesting that has been added to the schedule....for Sunday the 2nd

Edit: They changed it as I was typing. Now it says the 3rd

Minny is on a good run as of late. Might be a good time to skip them

Wow, I guess I stand corrected. Must have been some NBA logistical issue then. Who knows.

I bet the Blazers preferred it on this day. A back to back flying from Portland to Minneapolis is a bit much. This way the 2nd game of the back to back is in SLC, which realistically we will lose regardless. Those 2 games against the Wolves in 3 days might be very important to the Blazers, so it makes sense that they get a fair shot at winning in Minny, since the screw up was on their end.

If I'm not mistaken, when we had to fly all the way back to NYC to play the Nets for the snow cancelled game a couple seasons ago, it was also the night of the NCAA championship game.

You are correct. I had forgotten about that completely, but I imagine it made more of an impression on you.

Yeah and as I recall the storm they expected never hit the city. The game should never have been canceled. Meanwhile we lost the rescheduled game as Stotts let LMA and Nic stay home and rest.

Nic and Wes as well. I believe Meyers had a big game though. I thought we won that one.

Shit, thought we won that one. I DO remember Dame wasn't happy those guys stayed home. And I DO remember Meyers had a couple HUGE dunks.

Wolves have nothing to play for except pride. After the Blazers' win against the Suns, Minnesota was officially eliminated from the Playoffs chase. So hopefully, this will be an easy win.

Remember they beat both us and GS last year on the road with nothing on the line. I doubt it will be easy. It will interesting to see if Stotts keep experimenting with Aminu at center.
Technically he and Towns have the same reach and wing. Just a big difference in weight. Sounds like Terry likes the idea of Chief in the middle...for small doses
