Because I watched the game and saw Hood doing the same thing CJ was doing. Hunting for shots and forcing bad ones early in the shot clock and missing.
 
Need to figure out this offense fast or the season is going to slip away. West is too competitive. Can't keep giving away leads like this in the last minute.

Exactly. Because we were playing good defense. If our defense was bad, he'd be getting good looks and scoring.

I suspect if he'd have been more patient, he'd have gotten the same looks the rest of his team was getting. He was rushing it and trying too hard to go iso. The very same thing we criticize Dame, CJ, and Nurk for.

It's not all about offense. I was referring to Turnovers. Dame had 6 TOs in that game just like CJ had 6 TOs in this game.

In the first quarter, I agree our defense was good. It was patchy in the 2nd, but Hood was helping us by jacking bad shots, and we just got worse as the game wore on. 30 points in the 4th and 18 in OT. Bad.

Dame shot better in his previous game and he was horrible from three tonight.

Didn't much matter. Like I said, he was forcing shots he didn't need to force. Every time he shot, I was relieved because I could tell it was a bad shot and he was bailing us out by taking it. When you do that it doesn't matter who's guarding you. Again, we see the same out of our own players when they are playing poorly. Like when we criticize Nurk for rushing shots over players when he's bigger and has backed them into the paint.

a bad defender would allow him to take a shot
 
We will continue to struggle until we start playing as a team on offense. It same old thing our guards play to much ISo on offense. When we do run a offense we been pretty successful but we don't do it enough to be effective. Tonight Nurk had his best game of the season. Now the bench not doing anything due who we got running the 2nd squad CJ he not a point guard he doesn't make anybody better on 2nd unit as long as he try to get his points with that unit. Right now we play like lottery team and until we start playing the right way on offense we will be on the back end of these alot.
