Yes, get the win tonight against a team that has lost 8 straight, and has been outscored 15-5 in their past two games. Let's have a fast start for the first time in a while.

Exciting night of hockey. Wings at Pens in what could be a playoff elimination game, especially if it ends in regulation, and could have big implications on who we play in round 1 (I am rooting for the Wings). Caps at Sabres could be interesting as well. I'd expect the Isles to beat Montreal at home and solidify their hold on 3rd in the Met.

Great time of year as the regular season winds down, and the playoffs start in 9 days.
 
What a shocker, another slow start, and once again simply refusing to cover the man coming late. I am convinced the Rangers do not practice D zone coverage at all for that play, because that guy is always wide-open.

Better end to the period due to the PP.

I have to admit I laughed when Sam said the Flyers are dangerous, 3 minutes after saying they haven't had the lead in 4 games. While no game in the NHL is a gimme, playing a team with 8 straight L's, that hasn't had a lead in 4 games, and has been outscored 15-5 in their past two games, I don't want to hear they are dangerous when the Rangers come out flat again.

Play with energy and go win this game with a strong final two periods.
 
They just cannot score 5 on 5 and that is going to bite them in the playoffs.
 
And now miller takes a dumb penalty. This team playing with no emotion or energy. This is on lavs. Rempe should be in there to provide both.
 
Miller proving he’s a big useless turd tonight. Covers no one on the goal (which is his m.o.) and then take a terrible penalty to compound his stupidity. Seems like we will scratch Rempe because of whatever reason yet Trouba and Miller can fuck up endlessly and escape being benched and scratched.
 
You would think our coach would realize that Miller and Schneider are 100 times better as a pair.
 
Rangers haven’t played with ANY emotion at all in the last couple of weeks outside of the Devils game off the opening faceoff. They’ve been flat, almost in a coasting mode. They better snap out of this funk quickly or else it’s gonna be a very short playoff run. This Flyers team allowed 9 goals to the shitty Canadiens, yet we can only muster 1 in a period and a half of play. Once again it’s a game on the perimeter with almost no one wanting to get in front. Rangers trying to win a beauty contest instead of just doing whatever it takes to win, which as always in scoring ugly goals and getting to the net.
 
Rangers always seem to resolve all teams that struggle..

Surprise, surprise. Another game where we bench Rempe, another game a team takes liberties with us.
 
Ok. Enough with Brodzinski. Bring back Enstrom and just get rid of Brodzinski. He’s 100% useless.
 
Oh, and the fact that Hathaway was allowed to get out of the box and no one jumped him and then just now once again was right on top of Quick and no one grabbed him and flung him away speaks VOLUMES about what this team is right now. This team is a passive, pussy filled team that lets other teams push them around and dictate play. Better get a fire lit or else it’ll be a quick 5-6 game series in the first round before an exit. Cannot keep going through the motions like this.

There’s no fire because there’s no competition. Every single player can play as shitty as they want without any concern of being benched. Lav is becoming Gallant. No dzone gameplay, no accountability for anyone. It’s a fucking repeat of last season right now and anyone that doesn’t see this is becoming a HUGE issue is an ostrich hiding their head in the sand.
 
This team is seriously going to get knocked out in the first round if they don’t start giving a fuck. Losing 3-1 to a team that just gave up 9. Fucking incompetent, loser ass team
 
Absolutely ridiculous. And once again the late man all alone in front. Please do not tell me how well the Rangers are playing or call me a Debbie downer. This team has not played well for 9 or 10 games now outside of the Avs game. They are allowing nearly 4 GPG over that span, that is not my opinion, that is what has happened. Now they are getting dominated at home by a team that has lost EIGHT MOTHER F'ING GAMES IN A ROW. The whole 2nd period was in the Rangers zone outside of the one shift late. Now they are blowing the # 1 seed in the East, and potentially blowing the Met as well.

I will tell you right now, if they play TB in round 1 they will not win that series unless they play WAY better than they have played in a while. Win or lose, the performances we have been seeing are a joke. And this team will once again be a quick exit in the playoffs if they don't get their s*it together. With the way they are playing they may lose the Met and play the Isles.

And again, it is not being negative to call it like it is. They need to play much better with the puck and in their own zone. That's just being real.

Let's see if they show up in the 3rd period. If they lose this game, it is wide open with regards to where we finish, 1st or 2nd in the Met, top seed or 2nd seed in the East if we win the Met. Because we cannot beat a team that has lost 8 straight, hasn't led in 4 games, and allowed 15 goals in the past two games, and we have ONE on the PP through two periods. This is a piss poor effort, being outhit, outhustled, and outworked.

And when I hear Lavy tell Sam he thinks the team has been playing well, he is either lying to Sam and saying something else to the team behind closed doors, or he is watching a different team. From where I sit, allowing nearly 4 GPG over the past 9 or 10 games does not = playing really well, win or lose.

Let's see if they show up and can win the 3rd.
 
Yeah this coach has been a dumbass lately. No wonder he has not lasted more than two years in his last two gigs.
 
I think Lavy has done a great job this year, but recently he has been a little off his game with some of his decisions. And the team has been terrible on D over this stretch as well and does not cover the late man ever. I just wonder what is happening in practice right now. Outside of the Avs game, the have allowed 34 goals in their past 9 games, and this one isn't over yet. They played a team that literally was playing the worst in the whole NHL, and the Rangers didn't show up and got rolled by them at home, that's the sad truth.

I know most don't want to hear it, or don't think it matters, but the Rangers are on the verge of blowing what has been a great season. They can still right the ship if they beat the Isles and Sens, but if they don't win those games, the Bruins and/or the Canes will pass them. And if they fall down, I hope the Canes pass them in the Met so they can play the Isles instead of TB, which is what will happen if only the Bruins pass them. With how we have played D, we want no part of TB. And if we continue to play D like this, the Pens can beat them also with their high end talent.
 
Rangers playing like they are up 4-1. They don't give a shit about winning this game, let alone scoring.
 
Possibly going on 4 game losing streak to the playoffs is such a ranger thing to do over the years.

That is bad, but what makes it even worse is the team they played tonight allowed FIFTEEN goals in the past two games combined, and during their 8-game losing streak they did not allow less than 4 goals in any game, and we scored ONE on the PP. You cannot overstate how terrible that is, and shows the team is flat as a pancake and way off their game. They had almost nothing tonight.
