Sorry for some reason when you said “aminu’s help defense has been awful all year” and “we should let aminu walk” and “signing aminu over Hood would be SILLY” I came away with the impression that you don’t appreciate Aminu.

Apparently your comments were meant to be more qualified. I still don’t think you appreciate aminu as much as you should.

51 plus wins is commendable in the west.

I remember a few years ago when a western conference team HAD to win 50 games to make the playoffs. Last year only 2 teams won 50 games. This year it'll be (at most) 5 in the WC, and 3 in the EC.

Well at the end of the day it was an ugly win, but it was a win. Hope they take care of LA on Tuesday. Just need one of the final two for HCA.

I got the feeling this game was a very easy game to underestimate. The Nuggets did not need this game. They were playing their middle portion of the roster and by the way they are pretty deep. They have some good players on that bench. Those players seemed to be very relaxed and had little stress. It showed in the last 5 mins when they had a chance to win. Their shots tightened up and they started pressing on the offensive end.
The Blazers were in a different position all game and responded well. They needed that game and they had to get some shots to fall. Dame stepped up and of course Aminu played very well.
Glad they put together a win. It would have been very easy to lose that kind of game on a night like that.

it was a needed win but I sure wouldn't call it a good one considering the circumstances. It should not have been that close. Besides resting their 3 starters, Denver had a minutes limitation on Gary Harris. Might have been a different story of it would have been Harris instead of Thomas in the 4th Q

I was explaining a way we could keep Curry, Hood, and Kanter this summer. We wouldn't be able to keep those three and Aminu. Never said that's necessarily what I'd do, and it's not the same as saying "lets just cut Aminu (for the hell of it)".

I've explained how your twisting my words and you continue to do them as if you have some sort of agenda. You keep bringing me up and obsessing over me, all over stuff you're misquoting or taking out of context.

I like Aminu he works hard out there. Yes sometimes he gets beat back door once awhile but not worried about his defense out 100 poss he has 109 and Zach got 109 and Nurk 105 I think Harkless 108 they are our best defenders. I am more about our guards defense more.

I hope we can re-sign Hood, Kanter, and Curry. These guys are very good for us.

So I came up with the ONLY way to keep all three, which included letting Aminu walk.

Turner, Harkless, a 2020 1st, and ATL right to swap OKCs 2022 1st for Portland's for Taurean Prince.
2nds and Meyers to a team with cap space.

That'd give us about $15M to resign two of Curry, Hood, and Kanter. Hopefully the cheapest one would resign for the room exception. Let Aminu walk. Sign Rolo for minimum.

I like Aminu too, one thing I appreciate in general about this iteration of the Blazers is they’re easy to cheer for. Not really any of them I really don't like. There are maybe some basketball tendencies Im not fond of here and there but it at least in my opinion they all seem like ok guys.

Aminu is easily the most underrated player on our team.

His defense is elite. His rebounding is great. His three point shooting is solid. He’s clutch. His chemistry and spacing is excellent. He’s ultra-focused and humble.

Losing aminu would be a huge mistake.
