How did Isaiah Thomas go from being so good to so bad?

Yeah for the record, I have liked Hood a lot more than I expected, I just find his shot interesting.Yeah a lot of it is release timing. When he's off it's always because his shot is flat.
Ah. But we already secured a playoff spot. And we’re not gonna win a Championship. I liked us a lot at full strength but we’re pretty fucking far from that. That’s all"Play Simons a ton", "Play the young guys", "It doesn't matter", "we have 0 chance to advance so just develop"...
Yea I know but it looks like bring it down to power up.He's regressed in that area. Never had that problem at Gonzaga.
I'm agreeing with you, he does that now, and he's gotten worse in that area because he didn't do that much at Gonzaga.Yea I know but it looks like bring it down to power up.

Turner, Harkless, a 2020 1st, and ATL right to swap OKCs 2022 1st for Portland's for Taurean Prince.I hope we can re-sign Hood, Kanter, and Curry. These guys are very good for us.
Bah. We already don’t and can’t. None of that changes unless we at least get to WCF but without Nurk it’s totally impossibleWe need to get outta the first round or we will never be able to attract free agents
Look up the definition of impossible. You use that word too loosely.Bah. We already don’t and can’t. None of that changes unless we at least get to WCF but without Nurk it’s totally impossible
He's missing a lot of easy shots, but at least he's attacking and going up strong. They'll fall.Kanter.....wake up!

2nds and Meyers to a team with cap space.
That'd give us about $15M to resign two of Curry, Hood, and Kanter. Hopefully the cheapest one would resign for the room exception. Let Aminu walk. Sign Rolo for minimum.
Lillard / McCollum
McCollum / Curry
Prince / Hood
Collins / Layman
Kanter / Lopez
I don't think they gameplanned to sag. Portland doesn't show much attention to opposing player skillsets when gameplanning their defense.@BonesJones
So I have my opinion but I'm curious about yours.
Do you think Portland came into the game with the gameplan of sagging off Plumlee. Kanter just had several lapses.
Or
Do you think Portland came into the game with the gameplan of playing Plumlee straight up?
I say this with fully understanding it's easier to see the court when the defense is playing off the offensive player.
You realize that Prince is cheaper than Chief will be, and the money saved will help us keep Curry/Hood/Kanter?Taurean Prince? Nah. Cheif is our best defender. We need to keep chief.

We don't even have money to resign all of our own guys. We're not going to land a good free agent from another team this summer.Yes it does. There’s gonna be a huge difference in our negotiation leverage if we do or don’t win a first round series.
If we lose, we have to sell free agents to come here even though a Lillard-led team has never won a playoff series against a non-injured roster.
If we win, we establish that we’re a top 4 team in the west even without Nurkic - we can sell this to top free agents.
