Should the Blazers rest players for the remainder of the season once they clinch the playoffs?

Yep; it's great having such a nerdy team because all the guys seem like they'll have a post-game career on staff or in the front office. I hope we get to enjoy one of these guys with the team for decades.

I'll take a bunch of nerds like we have over a bunch of coke sniffing, ego maniacs ala classic ABA Teams, Dallas Cowboys, 86 Mets, whomever. They fit this small town atmosphere and they don't attract attention.

Pop laughing at the end of the game was pretty fucking awesome. This whole game was pretty much an exhibition game for these guys.
It was, but it got to count towards real stats and totals, and the win counts! I'm glad Pop let us have it; he knew we deserved it more.

But that was his job during the 'Knee'd to Noah play'; Look around confused to distract the opposing team. They weren't confused but he did his assignment well.
The old mis direction. Nobody does it better ;)

unfortunately my daughter was a little under the weather for her first Blazer game so I spent most of hte second half in the hallway watching the game from a screen. I figured there would be a ton of empty seats with the fact we clinched playoff spots and CJ/Lillard/Crabbe were all sitting but there weren't as many empty seats as I imagined their would be. Also the crowd who I assumed would much quieter as well erupted in the second half, the noise was deafening and as loud as any Playoff game i'v been to. Thats one of the things I love about our city and the Blazers, we will still get up and cheer our heads off even when its the backups playing the whole game.

Sorry your daughter wasn't feeling well, but glad she, and you, got to experience a little bit of Blazermania!

Random Spurs Board Posts.....

This third quarter is maybe making me feel a little better about the Spurs chances against the Blazers’ bench in a seven-game series.

Man I miss the Spurs announcing team. Bill and Sean are soooo much better than Portland guys. So lame ………. (watching on league pass)

Before we inbound on the last play...

ANYONE…except napier taking this is a win

Game over....

-Wow………..just…….wow

-pooptastic

-well that was special

-Trade everybody!

That last one sounds like this place..... Lol

I love it!! By the way, guys, that was a direct pass to Vonleh around the Spurs player at the end. It didn't randomly find its way off Leonard to Vonleh. Watch it again. Great play by Napier.

And check out this: NBASpeed.com

I would sure have liked to face the Spurs in the 1st round rather than the Warriors. Just a few points away...

The comment about their announcers is the only thing that made me laugh. Not that Kevin and Lamar are great, but my god, Sean Elliott is Clyde Drexler level bad.

Hahahahaha - oh man, I'm still laughing from last night! That was a fun - and funny - game to watch! Total garbage, but oh so much fun to beat the Spurs without 5 of our best players.

This highlight video confirms what I suspected: despite the Blazers winning the tip, the refs gave the Spurs the ball to begin the 4th quarter.

Yeah, WTF was that about!?! Nobody even seemed to care or notice.
