I just don't see the sense of urgency from this team. That win streak left the guys over-confident that they can flip a switch in the fourth quarters of games.

I think Dame comes out firing to will us to a win. Either that, or he goes out in flames in a chuckfest. Whatever it is that ends up happening, no way Dame passes this game. It's gonna be like our game vs UTA a the end of the season last year when he went off from the jump in a game without Nurk/AC and he dropped 59.

I'd feel better about it if he didn't espouse that idiotic 'law of averages' meme. Shooting a basketball isn't based on chance. There is no such thing as "I'm due". There is only focus, effort and execution. One shot at a time.

CJ's problem is ... he has developed tunnel vision. And the rest of the team has caught the same sickness.
If he shoots 5 times and misses , he believes he just needs to shoot more and more and more. I'm sorry, that is dumb. And this is f** up.
Unfortunately, coach doesn't seem to actually do anything to fix it.
Can he just try to get a better shot? Can't he try to help in other ways? How about assists? How about driving to the hoop? How about posting up? How about moving the ball more? HELL NO... He will not even get his team mates involved. Rebound the ball and just dribble, dribble, dribble ... the shoot.
If the 3s aren't falling, how about getting closer and shooting 2s?
Our Bigs have become 3 shooters ... while they can have dunks and layups at the rim at will.
I hate how Collins has just become a 3 point shooter. I hate how Aminu and E.T always settle for 3s, when they just need to step in a few feet and shoot a simpler shoot.

It's so dumb that a team in Salt Lake City is called Jazz.

That name should have been returned to the New Orleans franchise.

I knew our 3 pt shooting was bad,but didn't realize it was this bad:

• Can the Blazers make any 3’s? In the 11 games since Portland’s 13-game win streak, the Blazers have connected on only 29 percent of their 3-point attempts — the worst mark in the league in that stretch. CJ McCollum may not be worried about his slump, but he has been particularly cold, hitting only 17 of his 64 attempts for a measly 26.5 percent in that stretch. Lillard has actually been slightly worse, however, hitting only 26.2 percent (22 for 84) of his shots from deep. The Blazers will need their star guards to heat back up. It won’t be easy though. The Jazz have allowed the fewest 3-pointers per game (only 8.5) since the All-Star break, and they are coming off a game where they limited the Warriors to five 3’s.
