Halfway through the third and Lillard has 4 points.
The Pacers are not doubling him and he isn’t making open three’s.
He tried a dunk and missed.
I’m more concerned about his lazy, unaware defence. He’s not right, either mentally or physically. He shouldn’t be out there.

I am truly flabbergasted as to why Dame and CJ can’t fight through screens effectively. Norm can do it. Even Ant can do it. Is it an effort thing. I just don’t get it.

You can hide one. You can't hide two. This has been an issue for over half a decade as time wastes away....

...and yet he keeps shooting. I get he wants to 'shoot himself back into a grove', but there are players right now who give them a much better chance to win. Set them up, get them the ball, and stop doing your best MeJ imitation.

He did a lot of that in the first half too. I can't blame him right now for reverting to Dame time when he's been so accustomed to it.

Billups is going to ride his starters to their death as if the bench is the problem.

Seriously, what doesn’t Chauncey see about Nance that we ALL can see??? Doesn’t even get time in the 3rd quarter until 8 seconds left???

Zeller bleeding again

Hopefully the second unit can get a lead before Lillard comes back in because if this is tied they could lose this game.
Maybe Chauncey can man up and make a decision not to play Lillard?

I don’t understand the love affair with Covington.

I can blame him, he played within himself the first half, facilitated very well and we were ahead. This half for whatever reason he jettisoned that and messed us up IMO, I thought he was smarter than he is showing

It's not about smarts, it's about what he's used to doing in situations that presented itself.

We are humans. That's what we do. It's hard for us to break habits.

Great glue guy, makes everyone around him better without it necessarily showing up on the boxscore.

Yeah it IS about being smart enough to realize you are hurting your team and putting aside the ego and ADJUSTING

Simons is the new Dame

I understand what you're saying, I'm talking about ingrained. Two different things.

But I'll end it at that. Enjoy the game!

I would have taken CJ out not Tony. Chauncey needs to stop riding his starters for 30+ mpg especially when they aren’t playing well.

Also it’s blatantly obvious Nance needs to play 30+ mpg. So horribly underused compared to the starters.
