We should be praising Wes for making up the scoring with 28pts tonight! Wesley pretty much turned this game around and put us in the position to win it. WES ROCKS!!

I'm not being irrational. I don't think someone should keep jacking shots if they're not hitting. As someone else pointed out, get in the paint and draw some contact if he wants to keep shooting. When he's off like this, his outside jumper is just a complete waste of time. It's like walking down and handing the ball to the other team.

Giving away a bit of FF....but if you're just looking at the stats Wes looks like a damn black hole. An efficient, 10-15 for 28pts black hole, but 1 assist on 15 shots. ;)

oh yeah, and one rebound. That soft dude never goes inside. ;)

OT..the Knicks are up a bucket on the Mavs in the 4th...and I forgot Felton is back in action for the Mavs tonight

Wrong, his 53.5% TS% is below the league average of 53.8%. And after tonight he'll be below the league average scoring efficiency by +2% or more, just like last year when he was the least efficient 20ppg scorer in the league by TS% and a full 3% below league wide average.

I agree with Nate, LMA is not as good as Tim Duncan. Also Matthews isn't as good as Michael Jordan. Batum... not as good as Pippen. All of our players aren't as good as other players.

We suck.

we had a discussion about this a while ago...if (insert your favorite Blazer) averaged 40ppg on 40 shots, would you consider him a scrub or the unanimous MVP?

He's shot 50% or better only 5 times this season, and he's shooting 44.6% from the field, that is not efficient.

He's ranked 167th in the NBA among qualified players in TS%. His eFG% if 46 To put that into perspective, the Detriot Pistons are ranked 28 of 30 in team eFG% and they are also at 46%. So his efficiency is equal to one of the least efficient teams in the nba.

Let's look at this then:

LMA tonight: 16% from the floor

In those games that you listed for Duncan:

41% (1 less shot)
30% (8 less shots)
33% (6 less shots)
36% (7 less shots)
27% (7 less shots)
8% (6 less shots)
16% (12 less shots)
25% (6 less shots)
33% (3 less shots)

So if anything, you're proving that when he was shooting really badly, he took quite a few less shots than LA did tonight. The only time he came close to 18 shots was when he shot 41%, which is respectable.
