Remember in 2009 when the Blazers couldn't match Houston's intensity?

That's going to happen this year
 
Why do we always dribble out the clock when there's still a minute in the quarter?
 
lol. Well, we got a season something this quarter. Not all bad.

At least they're already bashing our hopes in now. I don't think anyone thinks this team will be winning a playoff series if they keep playing like this.
 
Dallas is winning by 42 over our last two quarters against them.
 
The Mavs seem to be getting to the charity stripe at will.
 
Wave the white flag and use the final 3 quarters to develop the bench.

What's interesting is Olshey's letter to season ticket holders

He basically said don't get your hopes up for this year, and that the Blazers are ahead of schedule

I think he knows winning a playoff series is going to be too tough this year for the Blazers. The defense just isn't good enough.

It certainly feels that way. When teams amp up the defensive intensity and take away our easy jumpers, we're have no answer. We just shrink away. And our defense is incapable of stopping anyone consistently.
 
This is the type of thread where all the homers check out and the forever negative guys just have a field day. This ought to be fun.

Yep. Lets count that quarter where we had our 3rd string in who had never played in real game situations... after we were up 30+... remember that? We do well against this team overall, 2 quarters does not make a season series.

And this is why I don't think we stand a chance in the POs. Stotts won't be able to make the necessary adjustments in order to put us in a position to win.

I'm a homer and I'm still here. I predicted 3 seed at top of season. No one else did.
 
Just keep launching 3's and not getting back on defense........
