Said "wait until they go on their 4 game eastern conference swing."

Talking about how we can't keep this up
Ooh. 4 game eastern conference road trip. I'm so scared. Maybe Mr. Webber hasn't been keeping up with current events, but didn't the Blazers sweep a 5 game eastern conference trip, recently?

If only we had kept Nolan Smith we wouldn't have needed Mo Williams.

No. It was a 4 game trip. I was there.

Exactly! People are just trying to find anything they can think we falter on. It's getting harder so they start reaching

If I was Detroit I would make a real offer to Phoenix. Either Dragic or Bledsoe, doesn't matter, I'd take either. I don't think Detroit will win with Jennings. If you put someone like Dragic on the Pistons, they'd be a real contender in the east. Probably top 4.

The Pistons outscored the Blazers by a combined 18 points in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.

Well, for what it's worth, in the middle of that game, you said we weren't a playoff team and Detroit was better... so...

I said IF we make the playoffs, didn't say they wouldn't, and I was kidding anyway so it doesn't matter. 20-5 would've been perfectly acceptable. But 21-4 is much more fun.

Would you have been kidding if we lost? You're hard to tell sometimes. But it's cool. 21-4. :)

I don't know how many times I screamed "yeah!" And clapped my hands tonight

I would've been disappointed but perfectly fine with our record. I want us to stay ahead of OKC and SA though. OKC announcers talked about us at the end of their game. Mentioned that we came back to win our game so it leaves Thunder in 2nd.

Good thing Lopez was able to get that shot down, I'd have been really pissed to lose a game on a blatant goal-tend non call.

hahaha if you look at how many we got and how many were pure bull shit, well...we had a tough hill to climb

Why would Phoenix want to make a trade when they are competing for home court advantage in the playoffs?

Robin.

Lopez.

12 points off 5-8 shooting, 13 boards (6 offensive), 3 assists, and 1 steal.

The dude is just so consistent. He is a huge reason for our success this year. Why has he not been considered for most improved?

I'm a fan of this argument. Well played.

Of course they do but Williams ball-pounding dribbling exhibition has been going on all season...as has the bricklaying shooting statistics. Certainly glad they won and Mo is better than anyone they had last year but it certainly is not an area of strength.

:matrix:

I agree. Is it an issue of never being satisfied with some people? Idk. This game could have easily turned into a blow out for Detroit without Mo.

Then may I ask a question? Has Mo been shooting well, dribbling little and the bench is an area of strength? I'm not trying to pick an argument but those seem like legitimate observations. No one is happier with the Blazers start than I am but I'm also looking at the long term and the bigger picture. I'm just worried about what an almost last-place production bench might cost the amazing job the starters are doing. Is that so out of the realm of consideration?

one could argue that he is doing better than Lillard..

I'm sick and tired of the "jump shooting team" label. We are better than teams like golden state that have no half court offense. We have a damn good half court offense. Who gives a fuck if we have wide open, high value shots?!

And if you take away that part of our offense, we can still beat you.
