What? They know what a foul on Toronto is? These refs are about to graduate high school ball!
 
I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that, by your comments, our 4-11 showing (including LMA's putback there) from 4' and in is a product of some referee assistance?
 
Splendid dime by Dame to LMA for the and-one. Oh yeah!!
 
All I ask is that they call it the same way on both ends. That's all I want. Is that so much to ask?

There is contact on literally every drive by Dame, Wes, Mo, etc, but the refs aren't calling shit. Yet, all the Raptors have to do is drive into the hole and they get a whistle.
 
The worst part is they don't get calls at home either.
 
I think the refs have been pretty good actually. Dame's just not finishing.

And WTF has happened to his jumper? No confidence in that midrange shot these days so he's just taking it to the rim and getting swatted.
 
I would just make Valanciunas shoot from the perimeter. Give him the shot. Make him prove he can make it.

That is an interesting opinion.
 
BlazerCaravan, the question I asked about the block was for a couple reasons.

1) We're 3rd-to-last in the league in blocks, and last in steals. Stotts said that he didn't want to gamble on D going for blocks and steals, and I can understand that philosophy even if I don't personally agree with it for our team.
2) The blocks we HAVE gotten this year are mostly the Lopez-at-the-rim variety--so I didn't know if LMA actually went out and blocked a mid-range J or if GameCast messed up or what.

Nothing sinister, I promise. I'm much more open when I praise or hate.
 
Remember, Roy didn't even start getting calls until after he made the ASG. He even started doing that dumb "AGGGHY!" every single time he drove to attempt to get calls. After his first ASG, he started getting them. And then, even when he didn't really deserve them.

It's a process.

To be fair, I don't think you can hammer him for having a couple of poor shooting nights out of 3 games when he was torching the nets in the first 5 games. He's streakier than I like, but he's got confidence. And when he's on... :dunno:

In my opinion, it's a result of being used differently and poor reffing. I just want him to be more aggressive.
