I agree, the announcers weren't that bad but their fans are some serious homers. Once that team has to suffer through some seriously bad times like most franchises have it will be interesting to see how their fans react.

I'm confused why the officials allow players to talk shit to the opponent's bench as well. Why is that not a technical? Durant isn't the best player and never will be simply because he talks way too much shit. Westbrick rubbing off on him maybe. But I don't like the street ball theatrics.

Hey, while he was taking (and missing) contested jumpers two of the best shooters in the NBA had their thumb up their ass. But we won, right? Winning cures all.

I wish the NBA would lessen the schedule to 66 games so games are more meaningful and you actually get the best out of players. Plus, I bet there'd be a lot less injuries too.

I think they're tied to the 82 games (revenue from STH), drawn-out playoff series (ad $), and news cycle dominance from preseason in October to FA in July.

There's no way they'll scale back, and no way the players would give up the money required to do so.

Only Phx and Portland play 4 in 5 with all games on the road, out west. Phx does it once. Portland three times. 3 guaranteed losses already built into the Blazer's season.

No other team in the league has more than 1 of these 4 games in 5 nights road trips. The Suns get 2. The Blazers get hosed.

There should be an absolute rule in making up the schedules that a team can't play pairs of back to backs without at least two days off between them. I'd have loved for Stotts to flip the bird to the league office by resting his entire starting lineup for one of these games.

I'd love him to do that and when he gets asked about it explain the BS about us having 3 road trips of 4 games in 5 nights while only one other team has even 2. That would be big news and get a huge fine but also start conversations about how the league schedules teams.

I took that loss harder then any other loss this year. Took me almost two hours to get over it and it really comes down to the team being really gassed at the end of the game. If the Blazers weren't on a 4 in 5 night stretch the ending looks different, we might still lose but not like we did.
I think I took the loss so hard because it was, imo, the nail in the coffin with Stotts as the All-Star coach and that is an honor we haven't had in so long I can't remember the last time it was. There are still a handful of games to be played but the Thunders schedule is much easier then ours and Durant is playing FU basketball so I don't' see them dropping more then 1 until the coach is decided.

It wasn't just a 4 games in five night road trip. It was a four games in five nights versus three title contenders another headed to the playoffs.

Think you can be satisfied with the trip although, not really happy about performance last night. They once again gave credience to Barkleys mantra about them. Didnt look anything like they did versus SA or Dallas. Tonight, Its a lot to ask from them to beak OKC three straight times, twice in OKC. Wasn't going to happen.
