I may be missing something, but the one quality win they have is OKC..both teams are on a back to back..hell, lets blow these guys out!

If I'm reading it right, GS is -8.5 favorites...

No respect I tell ya!

I dont get it, why are we so concerned about how good these Warriors are?

History tells us to be concerned. They have lost two in a row, they are at home, and their crowd is the best in the NBA. They need this win so there will be a lot more emotion and energy on their end. Portland's best bet to win is by staying close until the 4th, and then go on a little run late.

Overall I just have a bad feeling about tonight. I don't think we will get blown out, but home court advantage in this match up is huge.

Because all that^ means nothing. Even during our great years we lost down in the bay. With our 53 or whatever win team with Roy, they beat us on TNT playing 7 D-Leaguers!

Andre Iguodala officially listed as "doubtful" for tonight's game. No word yet on Curry who is listed as "day-to-day" (like all of us).

Iggy likely out, I'm on pins and needles waiting to see if Curry is playing.

Here's the latest on Curry:

Curry (concussion) still needs to participate in full-contact activity before he can be cleared to play, the San Jose Mercury News reports. Since sustaining his concussion, Curry has participated in three non-contact workouts.

I'm done thinking Blazers are going to lose. I BELIEVE! Just messaged a friend who is a warriors fan to bet me $20. I'm looking forward to another in a long line of victories tonight.

I sort of wish Iggy and Curry were at full strength. I don't want the team to lose, but I want to see them up against some of the better teams when they are at full strength - get a better idea of where this team really is.

I agree, but we can only play against what's out there. All that other stuff is out of our control, so it can't be held against us.

I do not wish teams were at full strength. I already know where this Blazer team is, 11-2, 2nd in the Western Conference only by a 1/2 game, and leading the NW Division. ;)

8-2 with Curry and 0-3 without him. The three Curry-less losses were @ SA (lost by 2), @ Mem (lost by 7) and @LAL (lost by 7).

I'm a homer, but I think we win those games if Steph played.

Any update on Curry, BJM?

Nope, MJ has a history of keeping injury decisions close to the vest until the last possible minute. I would guess we won't know until just before tip off.

Damnit! I'm waiting on the prediction thread for Curry's injury update. lol.

It's a smart move by MJ though. Make the other team work all possibilities.

Here is about the most recent I could find, much of the same.

As @gswscribe reported, Steph Curry might be out tonight vs Portland as well due to lack of full contact practice... http://www.ibabuzz.com/warriors/2013/11/22/warriors-rule-stephen-curry-out-for-road-game-at-lakers/

Teams usually dont have full contact practices the day of a game do they? So if he hasnt participated in one yet I dont know how he would be cleared by gametime.

From what I read this morning hes been doing non-contact practice every day since the injury. Yesterday Klay Thompson was quoted as saying that he "doesn't know why Steph isn't playing".

The first game he missed they said was precautionary or part of the concussion protocol, but he missed last night's game too so there must be some lingering effects. But with Iguodala likely out I would bet Steph plays tonight.

Otherwise its Nemanja Nedovic and Kent Bazemore running point for the W's tonight.

The thing is, if I understand it correctly, is that the contact drills are part of the protocol, so I think he has to go through that too. Which makes sense, given that's when you'll know before going into real game action if he can handle it.

So as I said before, are the Warriors really going to go through a full contract practice on the 2nd day of a b2b gameday just to get Curry in?

Seeing their options at PG, they just might. lol.

I agree in principle. However, wins matter when a team is fighting for home court. I'll take the win against the depleted team.

Finally found tickets for me and my son . . . will be at the game tonight. I can't remember seeing a Blazers' victory at Oracle for some time. Hopefully tonight is the night.

Have fun tonight! It'll be a good battle!
