I would be frustrated too if everyone said before the season that we were a lock for the playoffs, but here we are again.... outside looking in.

And what's the excuse this year? Love is healthy. Rubio is healthy. Pek is healthy. What's the excuse?

Wow, the season ended? That went fast.

Let's see, Love is scoring more, assisting more, rebound more, better Ts%, better eFG%, draws more fouls, and actually has a better ORtg and DRtg.

But, LMA does get .4 more steals a game and .5 more blocks.

Yep, LMA is better. Sorry.

But LMA is on a 22-4 team, with a much better supporting cast, has been an integral part of big wins against good opponents, and is the leader in the clubhouse of MVP's early in the season.

But all those stats and a 12-13 record trumps that. God, what was I thinking? We should trade LMA, he doesn't get stats on a losing team! :MARIS61:

sure am glad this is a team sport...hey, how many wins has Love earned for you?

Half the game is defense, and Love sucks at it. If Love is better than Aldridge, why are the Wolves 12-13? As long as his team has a losing record, Love does not deserve the title best power forward in the game.

Rotowire STATUS
Day-to-day Cunningham will be available Wednesday against the Blazers. (37 minutes ago)

Day-to-day Martin is still a game time decision.

This was fun, wolves fan! Thanks for alleviating my boredom before the game. :)

There is no excuse. Wolves just suck

See posts above. Team sport.

Love isn't good, but is Aldridge any better? Why is Aldridge's DRtg worse?

Wait, so both of your defenses is that LMA is surrounded with better talent?

Man, I thought we were comparing individuals.

22-4

12-13

Stats don't matter. I want a team win, and since we do have the best PF in the game, we win by default.

I truly enjoyed your argument, but it doesn't hold water. Please, enjoy the complimentary mint as you depart, it was a pleasure having you here.

Wait wait wait. So now you say team sport when talking about Love's stats only. But when we bring up the team, you want to talk about the individual only.

That's classic. Oh, that's rich.

Try this one on...

According to 82games.com, when playing their primary position of power forward:

LaMarcus Aldridge:
Pts/48 Own = 30.1
Pts/48 Opp = 16.8
Pts/48 Net = +13.3

Kevin Love:
Pts/48 Own = 31.0
Pts/48 Opp = 21.9
Pts/48 Net = +9.1

Aldridge FTW!

And then there's that whole won/loss stat thing... Love is a stat padding loser.

Man you cannot follow discussion at all can you?

I talk about team sport when we are talking about the two team's records. I talk about Love's stats when we are talking about individuals.

That's what logical people do.

But logical people will discard that Love is helping a 12-13 club and still say stats. But when LMA is doing just as well in everything that matters and for a winning team, it's different.

They are not mutually exclusive when you want it to be, they tie together.

Logical people understand that.

I like the shorter version: LOSER.

Congrats on having a young Zach Randolph on your team. You should be so proud.
