Had to watch a recording but what an awesome win! My mouth was hanging open in the first half and I almost freaked out in the 2nd from the pressure. Love this team!

lmao over at the chi board they are asking why Rose never gets any calls. lol.

Yeah, I saw that. Their game thread was not unlike our own. All fans are alike.

It's a pretty good read. I'm to about page 30. Halftime. Almost to the third quarter. :ghoti:

A lot of them are saying "We need to not have a flat 3rd quarter"

Well... umm..

Reading the chi board right now, seeing their reactions.

They already have a 300 reply thread about rose's knee, and a 300 reply about "looking to the future" and him being out for awhile, don't know any confirmations just yet.

This will probably go down as the worst regular season loss in the history of the franchise

Great first experience at the club level for my wife and I. Food was great and kinda reminded me of our all inclusive honeymoon where we could eat all we wanted. It's going to be hard going back to the 300 level.

As for the game, it's been a long time since I've heard the Garden be so loud as it was during our run in the third quarter and I went to last year's game when we came back to beat the Heat. What a great turn of events especially when you see just how poorly we were playing at one point. We were being out rebounded 5-20 during the first half.

What a great win to keep the steak alive! Steal one from the Warriors in their building and watch the media praise roll in thick.

Just got to the hotel and Dame's fans are everywhere!

Watching the replay now. Batum and Wes were high energy in the third. Defense brought us back.

Great win, that 3rd quarter was just amazing. watching the replay I'd have to say the only thing that confuses me would be why Wes sat for over 6 mins to start the 4th, Wes was smoking hot.

Damn. It's like 1:30 there? Dedication. And Damn he looks tired, for a real good reason.

My only thing is... how the hell do people know where ya'll are staying? LOL. I mean, they got shoes on the ready.

No doubt, most of those guys are just gonna sell that stuff on ebay. Lame. GET TO BED DAME!!!

He was smoking tired. He played the entire 3rd quarter. Stotts let him rest as long as he could then put him in to close out the game at about the 6 min mark.

Yeah, they're not fans. I sort of know a guy who camps out for autographs of athletes and famous musicians here in Portland. He also scalps tickets.

Hey Sly, how did the fans react to Roses injury?

I know it wasn't in a typical scenario, where the game halts and the crowd goes silent, but he did leave the court. Was it during play?

One thing I've always respected about Portland fans is how they react to injuries (both of Blazer players and the opponents). Nothing but respect.

I remember going to a game where Damon Stoudamire got injured, and the second after it happened (during live play) you could heave a pin drop in the RG. Sure, he was a home town kid, and used to play for the Blazers (and made himself over as a Blazer), but he wasn't on the Blazers when he got hurt.

I remember seeing people stand up immediately as it happened, and react like it was one of their own family members getting hurt. Kind of a surreal moment for a while. And as he was leaving (iirc, he covered his head with a towel, because he didn't want to be seen crying/showing pain), he got a sizable ovation.

From what I saw, it seemed like it was nothing at first. He just started limping. It's not like before where he was on the ground in pain. I would wager most fans didn't even notice it.

The people in my section didn't notice until someone behind me checked online and read that he wasn't coming back.

thats kind of what I thought (based solely on the highlights). Just was curious if it was an obvious leaving of the game or not (after the initial injury I mean)
