LOS ANGELES (Ticker) - Despite all the talk about where KobeBryant will be traded to, the Los Angeles Lakers haven't beenpaying attention.
The Lakers, who are in second place in the Pacific division, tryto get back on track Sunday when they host the New Jersey Nets.
After a four-game winning streak, Los Angeles has droppedback-to-back games. On Friday, Bryant scored 28 points andVladimir Radmanovic added 18 in a 107-94 setback to the BostonCeltics.
Radmanovic, who hit 3-of-6 3-pointers, is just one role playerthat has picked up his production. Jordan Farmar, thesecond-year UCLA product, has also been asserting himself on theoffensive end, averaging 10.3 points and 3.0 assists in 21minutes per contest.
The Nets enter the game with wins in their last two games afterlosing six straight. New Jersey has been given a lift by thereturn of Vince Carter, who has scored 13 and 15 points,respectively, in the two victories.
Carter missed five games after spraining his right ankle againstthe Celtics on November 10.
