I put zero stock in the past 2 games. The media will bet the farm on these past 2 games.
Short shots are from tired legs. They need these 3 days to decompress.
I second that emotion.Spurs lost tonight too. We need a fucking break. At this point, I kinda hope that Dame doesn't make the All-Star team because I want him to rest and I want him fired up from the snub.

Stotts is punishing them. They obviously need rest, why in the hell are the starters playing this late in a game that was lost in the 1st quarter?
You've put essentially zero stock in any game we lose. maybe you should look closer instead of making excuses at times? Or, just tell me our record, and I'll go away.

Someone mentioned this before but...he's already going to be there anyways, playing a few minutes in the ASG won't kill him.I mentioned that a couple weeks back. Our players need rest during the all-star break and come back refreshed.

Besides, it's nice to get that recognition. Helps with his reputation around the league and might help him get calls.
Rest? That's a lame excuse IMO.
Last I checked every team has played the same amount of games, or close to...
All-stars don't mind playing in the game. It's the meeting and greeting during the festivities that some of the players dislike tremendously.
It's a huge PR campaign each season.
I feel sorry for Toronto. They are gonna get pounded Saturday.
Based on what? We haven't pounded anyone in the last two weeks - even longer than that at home. We've put teams away late, but we are consistently getting lit up in the 1st quarter at home, giving teams confidence and letting them hang around all night.
We beat SA, and pounded Dallas. Haven't had time off to practice or rest since. 8 games in 12 nights. It takes it's toll physically and mentally. They need to stay home tomorrow. Don't even go to the practice facility unless it's to get treatment.
Portland isn't validating haters. Haters hate. Win or lose, they will hate on the Blazers. Any jackass saying "I told you so" about Portland not being one of the best teams in the NBA has been eating crow the entire 1st half of the season and need to shut up and finish eating their crow. I don't expect to hear from them again till sometime in 2016.
Or as I mentioned in another thread, we're actually trying to make Barkley a genius?Well, I think some people felt like we were playing above our heads at the beginning of the season, and they were probably right. I still think we're probably going to end up 4th or 5th in the west, which was my prediction before the season started. We're a good team, I don't think we have the defense or bench to compete at the same level as San Antonio or OKC, but I think we're going to get out of the first round and how deep we go in the playoffs depends greatly on who we play. There's nothing wrong with that though. The team is playing much better than most people thought. We're going through a bit of a slump right now, but that's common for shooting teams. We were riding high when our shot was falling, and we're having a tough time when our shots don't fall. Hopefully Stotts can't make some adjustments when we actually get some time off.
