Lillard has really been facilitating tonight, racking up the assists
Up 18 at the half and the crowd is still crickets.
This post is ass!![]()
Up 18 at the half and the crowd is still crickets.
ESPN doesn't mic the crowds that well.
I can always rescind the rep points.
(and a few more while I'm at it.)
Yeah, my Charlotte/Philly fact went over his head because he takes what atheltes say in interviews as fact. When was the last time an athlete said something truthful in an interview?
I guess the one thing we can try to stop is the Korver 3 pt streak... got through a half.
I never attacked anyone personally.
We beat the Lakers with Ha and Telfair. Even though we had a bad record, we had not checked out. We were Rey confident and won that game. You can't judge a team by their record. Any team can beat any team on any given night in this league. These are the best basketball players in the country.
That is probably the understatement of the year.
Even still, crowd hasn't really gotten into the game.
Yeah, IN Portland.
and the Lakers that year weren't 41-18. And playing at home. The Lakers had 34 wins, and Portland had 26 at the time.
Not exactly a 21 game difference there. Nice try though.
using your logic, it shouldn't be a surprise that the Blazers won that game. the Lakers had just lost 5 in a row, and the Blazers had just BARELY lost to the Nuggets, in Denver. The Nuggets, winners of 49 games that year and 2nd place in the division.
Okay. Sure, it different. But our guys hadn't "checked out.". That is why I brought up that comparison.
okay, sure. And?
Sounds like you have something against me and you're just trying to "bring me down.". If that's true, then Go ahead. You win. You're better than me.
Our effort is much better tonight. Hopefully we keep it up in the second half.
If so, then we learned the right lesson from the L*ker game.
Nice use of the John Canzano approach.
I never denied your facts about Charlotte/Philly. I remember that. That has nothing to do with the Lakers. They were confident going into the games against us. They don't care what we did against Philly.
Last interview I heard was Aldridge on ESPN a few minutes ago. I believe everything he said about how hard Lillard works. What do you think? Was he lying. I guess we'll never know.
What sucks about this is that I missed a lot the first half because of this discussion. That's my fault. Enjoy the st of the game. I never attacked anyone personally. I was just conveying two points and no one cared. Fine. So be it.
Holy cow, the Hawks are shooting 25% from the field. Some of that must be our defense.
