GAME THREAD: JAZZ @ BLAZERS - 12/6/13, FRIDAY, 7 PM (PST), CSNNW

utah's made a bunch of tough midrange shots. well up our defense after halftime.

I'm talking about the big quarters, like Chicago, GS, etc.

I'm talking about defense. Our defensive adjustments are great in the second half. The only reason Utah is even close is they are shooting over 50%

To be fair, either Aldridge or Lillard was out there all half long. It's not like we throw five bench players out there. It's basically our bad defense and the starters are culpable there too.

And the Heat without Dwade, or LeBron? I'm not worried about it. This team will push each other to be better. I'm gave them a pass before the season started till they get time playing together, and now they are 16-3.

Blazers bounced out to a 20 point lead and have been coasting ever since. The fact that they've given up 9 offensive rebounds and 55% shooting shows they're playing lazy defense. They need to come out in the 2nd half and hammer these guys into oblivion.

Huh? I was just saying that we always have Aldridge or Lillard on the floor. Aldridge stays out there while Lillard gets rest. Then Lillard comes back as backup SG. What do Wade and LeBron have to do with it? I'm just saying the blown leads aren't all on the bench which actually had a decent showing offensively.

"either Aldridge or Lillard was out there all half long". I thought you were implying they were sucking without both in the game. Most teams do. Whether that is different or the same as what you're saying, idk. It was just additional information.

Lillard has outscored Burke 21-13, which is a 42-26 pace. How about putting a little of that offensive energy into defense.

Should be Burks, the 6-6 sub PG. Burke, the 6-0 starting PG, has been mediocre.

Edit: You guys caught it too.
