can't give up a score here.

AND Aldridge. All three struggling and we're still in it.

Aldridge is getting doubled. If Nic or Wes start hitting some shots they will have to back off and LaMarcus will dominate. He can't be guarded by one guy.

Third quarter I expect a lot of corrections and better three point shooting.

Great D for the end of the 2nd quarter.

Precursor to the 3rd.

If we could just hit our threes, Aldridge will have more room down low. We have to focus in the second half

Really a poor 1st half. Between 9 turnovers and 3-13 from '3', you have to be happy to only be down by 2. Rip City in the second half!!

Yep. I wonder what our Plan B is in the event that we keep shooting like crap from 3...

Down only 2. I'll take it.

all things considered (open lanes to the hoop for Dallas, horrible shooting from 3 and from Batum, Wes and Aldridge), I agree.

I just hope they come out and make the adjustments in the 3rd. Dallas is playing a little better, but it's not like they're kicking the crap out of Portland and Portland made a desperation run at the end to get within 2.

Mo was actually a starter in the NBA...he's playing like Armon Johnson tonight.

Tough to follow up 17-23. Law of averages catching up in the first half. Might have to find other ways to get it done tonight.

Well, it's not like they're shooting 58% or something...

Carlisle seems to have Stotts' number. The interesting thing is that the Mavs completely shut down Dame last year, but tonight he's torching them.

At least you didn't go 'Nolan Smith' on him.

I like it when Mo provides a scoring punch, but sometimes he just looks like a handicap out there. He forces his shot instead of hitting the open man, and remember how Armon would just steamroll down the court having no idea what he was going to do....

FWIW, a friend of mine who has connections in Houston said that the Rockets and Blazers talked about Asik but Morey wants much more than Portland would be willing to give up.

I don't doubt he wanted too much.

Meyers Leonard is going to be an allstar! That should be enough.

No surprise. Let me guess, Asik for LA straight up.

He dribbles too much and he doesn't make good decisions with the ball. It's beyond maddening.
