EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (Ticker) -- The Orlando Magic have nothistorically liked hitting the road. That trend may be changing.

Rashard Lewis matched a season high with 27 points and DwightHoward collected 21 and 19 rebounds as the Magic remainedunbeaten on the road with a 95-70 victory over the reeling NewJersey Nets on Friday.

Orlando won despite the exploits of New Jersey's star pointguard Jason Kidd, who collected 11 points, 10 assists and acareer-high 19 rebounds for his second triple-double of theseason and the 89th of his career for New Jersey.

The Magic have won eight of their first 10 games to match thebest start in franchise history and improved to an NBA-best 6-0on the road. Orlando, which went 23-18 in 1995-96 for theclub's only winning season on the road, also matched the longestroad winning streak in team history from March 15-April 3,1996.

Lewis made 9-of-16 shots and Howard dominated the Netsinside, shooting 8-of-13 en route to his ninth double-double.Orlando never trailed after the opening minutes and the finalmargin represented its largest lead of the game.

The 70 points nearly matched the Nets' lowest scoring output ofthe season and marked the third time this season that New Jerseyhas scored 70 or fewer points in a game.

Richard Jefferson scored 15 points but made just 4-of-19 shotsas the Nets played their third consecutive game without starguard Vince Carter, who is sidelined with a sprained rightankle.

New Jersey now has lost four in a row.

Re: NBA: ORLANDO (7-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-4)

we're gonna be pounded by the Heat as it looks like Wade regained his form. another blow out is coming so, guys, buckle up.

Re: NBA: ORLANDO (7-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-4)

The Heat played pretty good, they're a different team with Wade. He was unstoppable at times tonight. (it was nice that we had posey to handle him haha)

Re: NBA: ORLANDO (7-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-4)

hey, but lottery pick is not bad at all, huh?

Re: NBA: ORLANDO (7-2) at NEW JERSEY (4-4)

BTW if people hate mixing the sportsticker and game threads then start up a poll and see what everyone else thinks. If the Nets posters don't want to mix, we won't mix.
