Stardom? That matters to someone like Rudy but Freeland shies away from that big time.

With the cap about to go up in 16 and the fact that he is close to 7' and plays tough, I think he's deserving of 6.5-7 mil per year

I don't know. He also went scoreless tonight until the final 15 seconds. Since he's about to turn 28 he doesn't have the upside of a typical 3rd year player. I hope we keep him but at that price for more then just a year or two I'm not sure it would make sense.
