GO BLAZERS!

GO BLAZERS!

Lol. Nice sig pic

After what happened in game 4, it's gonna be interesting to see how the Mavs come out and play. Equally intriguing is how the Blazers follow up that thrilling performance.

Is it too bold to say that whoever wins this game, wins the series?

Thanks. :)

This game is pivotal. Not only because the winner goes up 3-2, but either the Blazers build on their momentum from that amazing come back and rides it to a series victory, or Dallas strikes back, somehow bouncing back from that devastating loss.

I guess we'll see, but I agree the winner of Game 5 will most likely win the series.

I think it's time for GWall to open up a can of whoop ass. The guy is due.

Wallace is very due and we seem to play well as a team when he plays well. But another person who fits that mold who is waaaaaaay overdue is Rudy.

We're up in the Reno/Tahoe area for the weekend to let the kids have the last of their snow days for this year but The Daddy has already proclaimed that my butt needs to be in front of the tv by 5:30 no matter what. Nervous about this pivotal game; would prefer not to have to go to a game 7 to win this series.

Omg I just got done reading the game 4 thread on a mavs forum (first time I've ever done that for any opposing team) and the meltdown was beyond epic. Ironically enough it seemed like they were/are so used to these choke jobs that right afterwards the thread quickly turned into a pretty civil debate about which city had better restaurants and women????? I can't even imagine what this place would be like if the situation was reversed. So I guess there are in fact other NBA fans that have just as tough as Blazer fans do!

Dark, cloudy, stormy, rainy down here in Big D today! We brought the P-Town weather with us! Let's Roll!!!!!!!

Least important game of the series.

Well, one of them has to be.

I'm really nervous about this game. The Mavs' defense really shut us down for 3 quarters and we had no response. Luckily, Roy bailed us out. I think we'll need Wallace and Nic to break out of their funk to get this game.

While the Mavs did great for the first 3 quarters - I think our streaky shooting was just as big a factor as the Mavs defense. The biggest flaw this team has, imho - is that the shooters are streaky as hell. You have seen it in game 3 - when Wes was shooting crazy - we won, you saw it also in game 4 - when everyone was shooting like crap in the 3rd quarter - we went down big.

Seriously, though, game 5's when teams are 2-2 are of course exciting, but compare them to the rest....
In a typical tightly contested series it usually goes something like this:
Game 1: Team that wins game 1 takes the series a ridiculous percent of the time
Game 2: Defines home court advantage and early series momentum
Game 3: See game 1
Game 4: Typically ties up a series or puts the first nail in the coffin--will this be a long series or a short one
Game 5: Meh. Win or don't, there's always tomorrow.
Game 6: Win or go fishing for somebody
Game 7: Win or go home for everybody

Mavs are going to come out with something to prove and the refs are probably gonna to be tough too. Blazers need to bring it.

Refs are gonna call it for the home team, judging by how this series have gone so far. The Blazers will need to stay composed and play through bad calls.

HEEEERRRRRREEEEE WE FUCKING GO FAMS!!!!!!!

I think Dallas wins. I hope I'm wrong by about 10 points.

I have this growing feeling that our Blazers are going to step on the Mavs' throats tonight and make a statement coming off of game 4. I hope I'm right.

Hey they just showed 10 secs of HCP's video!
