But all of a sudden Dallas goes on a run and they just go away from everything, and struggler to run offense. They also stop trying on defense. biggest disappointment in this game is the lack of any stiff fouls for Portland. The Chris Johnson foul doesn't count since it wasn't really anything major.

I'm not saying the Mavs have gotten away with stuff, but it's amazing the discrepancy in the amount of fouls called. The Blazers can't hit the broad side of a barn from 3 though. If the Blazers start off the 2nd half the way they did in game 4 and 5, I'm gonna be a bit pissed that the Office was delayed to Saturday night.

As much as Dallas should be chastised for their prevent offense in game 4, Portland plays a prevent offense when they get leads of 6 or more. I can't count how many games the Blazers have had 6 point leads and you expect them to actually keep the throttle on, only to see them start playing prevent offense and lose leads.

No killer instinct, no sense of urgency, and no effort. Three of the four corners of a mediocre foundation. The fourth being just bad concrete. Hm, now that I think of it, they have that too.

This team just isn't constructed very well at this juncture. No outside threats. No dominant big men inside. Aldridge is not someone that can own the paint. I like some of our pieces, but I think Cho has his work cut out for him.
