GO BLAZERS!!!

HUGE GAME. Battle for the 3rd seed! Potentially the #2 seed if the Thunder lose to Clippers.

Heh. I don't think we have to worry about seeding before November is even half over.

I don't know. Indiana is focused.

This is why I said Feburary. They'll get it by then.

As for the west, no one is going to be holding onto any of the seeds for the entire season. So much flip flopping, it'll be like an election.

Do not be surprised if we have a tough game tomorrow. Right now, the Suns are doing things well that we are having trouble with.

20% of their offense comes in transition. They rank #9 in points per possession (PPP) and we are #16 defending.
Post up could also be an issue, with them at #6 and us at 28th, but only 12.5 percent of their offense is generated this way.

On the flip side, the only huge mismatch is that we are #8 when spotting up and they defend it at #21.

Vegas has us as 7 point favorites. I see the game being closer.

All the suns wins they have been within 5 points the last five minutes of the game. I think it'll be close but we will win.

You do realize we are 12 days into the season right? Huge Game?

Serious question: why are you watching early season blazer games if they're not a big deal. Why the hell are you on a message board talking about the blazers - if the games aren't a big deal then TALKING about the team is a much smaller deal even. How about some of you just stop posting and tune out until February or whenever you think the games are actually a big deal.

Long live Kingspeed, haters.

Is Stotts coaching against himself?

Umm. Perspective is key. :MARIS61: :MARIS61: :MARIS61:

This. I'm not taking the game for granted at all. However, a win moving us to 6-2 would be huge.

No one is taking the game for granted. Who is taking it for granted?

It's a revenge game. I've never seen a revenge game taken for granted. That's just weird.

If we get to 6-2, we will be in sole possession of the third seed

which would be good considering we're not getting a lot of respect nationally. Check out the AP game preview:

A season after both finished well under .500, the Portland Trail Blazers and the Phoenix Suns weren't expected to improve significantly.

After all, the teams accounted for only one real notable offseason acquisition, though it is that man - Eric Bledsoe - who has keyed Phoenix's surprising start and will try to help prevent Portland from winning a fourth straight game Wednesday night.
