Yeah, and that settles it. This is one of those wins that we can hopefully look back on as fans and say that this is where things started going right for this team, for once.

That's what I'm hoping for. I still believe we will surprise everyone like we did in 1999. We can scrap. Phoenix were hacking us and bumping. We willed the win. These are the wins that build momentum. I wouldn't be surprised if we went 5-1 on the road.

BTW, I hope Lopez works at grabbing the ball. He seems to fumble it away a lot and tip it to the other team. I couldn't believe it at the end when he had the ball and just let someone come up and strip it, that almost cost us the game.

Dude even Tom chambers, a Phoenix homer and announcer said "the ball was clearly coming out before his fingers were in the net"

this. If you're claiming you lost the game because of this "goal tending", A: you don't deserve the win and B: you don't seem to understand that goal tending usually is done when the ball is on the way down IN the hoop or on the way down towards the hoop. This was outside of the rim

Lillard/Batum/LA combine for 11-42 shooting. We miss 9 FTs, so many layups and silly turn overs. The bench really saved the day, I think we need to see more of them. The bench combined for 14-22, so they made more FGs in half the attempts.

If we had shot a decent % from the line and made our layups it wouldn't have been such a close game. Thankfully the Suns returned the favor at the end.

Phoenix deserves credit. They were swiping on the ball like crazy. For 3 quarters, they took our rhythm out

I'm not sure that the bench needs more minutes, but it is nice to see LMA and Lillard not have to carry the team every night to actually win a game. LeBron should be jealous of this bench after 8 games. I love watching real NBA talent off of the bench. Last time the bench was this solid, statistically, was the first year of Andre Miller.

Post game crew is now talking about the Batum call, since we're talking about it. This is why the Blazers wanted to partner with S2!

The scums deserved to lose that game for not capitalizing on horrific Blazer miscues . . . By the same token, we hardly deserved to win it, so I guess I'll quote Will Munny, "Deserve's got nothin' to do with it . . ."

It can't be goal tending if the ball is outside the cylinder, and the ball was outside the cylinder. Good call.

BTW, one lasting image from this game was watching Gerald Green strutting around like he's hot shit after hitting a 3 with his teammate down and bleeding on the floor. That guy couldn't get off the bench last year here in Indy, and was more of a victory cigar than an actual contributor. His run is not sustainable. Not with his mindset anyway.

Just noticed Nic had no assists this game. Credit to the PHX defense.

"Drink up kid."

Totally. It felt like the Suns knew what we had cooking the last few games and took that away from us. As evidence, they got their hands on a lot of our passes, especially in the first half.
All that attention on Nic did free up Dame's passing game, who ended up with his season high of 8 assists.

They missed a bunch of close shots at the rim. I feel really lucky to have this win. OTOH, it feels really great when our Big 3 underperforms and we can still win - that's Spurs-type stuff.

Spammy!

Very frustrating win. The ending was amazing at least. Crowd went crazy when Lillard hit the GW.

First time in I don't know how long where the team displayed some grit and gutted out a win through sheer force of will instead of a lot of fancy-pants 3 point bullshit and lackadaisical defense. I'll take the former over the latter any day of the week.

I'm happy we can grind games out.

I loved how stotts kept the difference maker in the game. That was something Nate never did. Stotts allowed the performance of players to determine the playing time. Good shit!

Please change that picture you have on your posts. It is disgusting, revolting, nauseating.
