Explain Simmons playing crunch time over Hayes.
The Nets were up by 10 late in the 4th and a couple of defensive stops could have killed the game off. So he obviously went with Simmons for his defense over Hayes offense. Obviously in hindsight this turn out to be the wrong move because nothing could have stop Wade and the Nets needed Hayes offense to keep the Heat at bay.
I think on that last play when Vince traveled, even though he never should have done that, I think Yi's spacing was horrible, he ran right past VC's shoulder. If they were doing what I believe they were doing, Yi should have been farther out and let Haslem overplay him to double Vince so that he could kick it. Anyone else agree or am I just dick-riding Vince?
When the hell have you seen Simmons lock someone down ? he's not a lock down defender, Hayes should have been out on that floor atleast that way the double team on Yi doesn't happen off the pick n' roll.
I think Vince should've taken the 3 at the end, not try to set up a play for Yi. I understand why Frank might've wanted to do that but still Vince is the best player on the team and quite clutch. Although he choked tonight with that travel. This should've been a win but I guess they'll just have to live and learn from these type of games. I also don't understand why Ryan isn't getting any PT anymore.

Yi needed the rest so he can play major minutes in the 4th. So that was not a coaching error.

I would normally agree with you, but Yi hardly got any touches in 4th Quarter. Carter was the playmaker and he didn't trust the team enough to pass early in the clock. Every possession was a 1 pass or no pass.
The last turnover was really Yi's fault for practically running right into Vince and then stopping with the defenders clustered right there so there was no outlet for the pass, and Vince was off balance.
That said, VC played poorly the last 5 minutes or so of the game, and that was the difference. Miami had a much better closer. End of story.
There was a point in the fourth where Dooling had the ball and Yi's arms were open for a pass. Beasley had left him . Dooling didn't even see him, passed in the opposite direction. I kept thinking tonight how great Yi would be with Jason Kidd at the point.
Simmons over Jarvis Hayes and I'm suppose to give him credit, listen IDK if your Michelle or not I can't know that but you gotta be kidding me there. Also what's w/ not playing Lopez when teams start that hack-a-boone stuff, we have a big that can make FT and play defense and yet he rides the bench for what ?
No, I believe Michelle still has her own account.

LOL whoever you are that decision still sucked and Lawrence Frank continues to give me headaches watching him set rotations and under utilize talent.
You should still continue to watch the games so that YES Networks receives advertising revenue.
And WTF is up with airing Yale games? Are you guys that desperate?
I disagree, me and my friend was talking about this. Carter didn't want to give up the ball in 4th Q. Yi was running around open outside early in 24 seconds. However, Miami know carter won't pass early. Carter became very predictable, he got double teamed, then tried to look for Yi who was also defended. Simmons is not dependable... end of story.
Can't blame Yi, when he didn't get touches and goat him for the winning shot.
The bank shot was luck, but they were doubling him so weakly. On the other 3, Carter gave him way too much room, and then on the 17 footer that iced it, what were they doing? That was a horrible attempt at a double team. You have to double him hard and get the ball out of his hands. That's bad strategy and bad execution. They let themselves get beat. And how about taking Boone out with a lead in the 4th from now on? Take him off the court from minute 5 to minute 2. It's called anticipating and adjusting, Larry, it's not the first time this has happened.Dwayne Wade hit a bank shot 3. That tells the story, No defense was stopping him. The only way we could have "defended" his impact was to make some god damn shots and free throws at the end. Good teams can do that, we didnt.
lol man, it's not really FratelloYeah, the Yankees suck. No revenue there. And WTF is up with airing Yale games? Are you guys that desperate?
