On the current roster, he'll struggle to get more than 18mpg.
 
Fun signing. Brings a needed skillset.

He's a weird player but was damn good last year. Think he showed that despite being guard sized, his defense and rebounding allows him to effectively play as a 3/4 in smaller lineups. Can take advantage when teams want to put their center or weakest defender on him as a cutter/roll man. The corner three looked like a dependable shot for him as well.

We got better and more versatile with this move.

Some folks with the revisionist history on their OWN myriad and sundry posts. Unreal. Not naming names, but got damn that's some outright bald-faced lying.

Now on to this move, clearly this is setting up a trade of some of the following: Keon, Bledsoe, Hart. Not sure if we can still trade Ant now that he's signed and I don't want to unless we get someone of KD's caliber. I'd strongly hesitate to move Simons for Simmons for example.

I do think one of the Nets' guys KD/Simmons is the target here. It's possible it's Ayton, if so pity we didn't go for Ayton jr. in Jalen Duren.

I like the best case scenario of Nurk and if we get him for the roughly 17M then I think we have enough versatility to make up for it. But Nurk is the one true thing that will hold us back from ever going far IMO. You CANNOT win a title in this league right now when you have a lumbering C.

I think it’s part of a KD deal, either for KD or for BS to enable BKN to get Bam in a deal.

Ant is not signed. They’ve just made an agreement. They could still turn it into a S&T.
 
Do we still have money to sign Nurk to a 14-17mil a year deal?

No, Torey and Eric said we can't trade Ant until January.

I'm going to withhold my thoughts until the offseason is over. I think there's more coming.

I think we're trying to go after Durant.
 
Maybe there is no bigger deal ? GP2 is simply a much better Elleby? The best defender we could add.
