The Oilers scored two goals in clinching game. Not exactly setting the world on fire but they got it done.
 
Oilers make it interesting sending the series back to Florida.
 
Amazing what can happen when your best player scores important goals in the playoffs.
 
Also I guess the people here who wanted the Oilers coach to coach the Rangers were on to something. He's done a great job with that team.

Would this be the 1st time someone blows a 3-0 series lead in the SCF? Starting with Gm 4 the games haven’t even been close. It’s a major choke job for sure, but do hope the Panthers pull it off.
 
It's weird, but I have no rooting interest at all in the series. Maybe I slightly lean Florida because if they win it takes a little edge out of them next season, which could give us a better chance in the East, but I don't really care which team wins.
 
That would be great if FL blows the SCF. I like the Oilers. 100% momentum. They score first or take a 2 goal lead and game 7 is over for FL
 
I don't dislike Florida, but I'd always rather see the team that knocked us out fall short, plus the whole 3-0 comeback and McDavid storyline.
 
What a terrible call on Tkachuk. He had lost his footing. Wtf is he supposed to do.
 
Florida tightened their game up and shut down the Oilers just like they did at the start of the series. We might hate them but they are very deserving of this cup win.
 
Feel bad for Perry. I think that’s 3 straight SCF on the losing end.
 
For me I am totally indifferent on Florida, I don't like them, and I don't hate them. As I said, didn't really care at all which team won, but if there was a slight lean it was for Florida as maybe they lose a little edge next season, giving us a little boost in the East.

At the end of the day, Florida deserved to win, good for them. Now let's focus on the Rangers taking the last steps to get over the hump and win the Cup next season. They are not far off, with a few good moves by Drury it will be us celebrating next year at this time.

Took massive balls to change direction and trade their best player and get Tkachuk in.

I generally don't mind her and don't get why people have to shit on her every time she's on camera. Her job is not to ask hard-hitting or complex, thought provoking questions. She's trying to get the players to express their thoughts and emotions in the moment and humanize them.
 
Great game, great way to end the series. The Oilers had a few pucks dancing in the crease they couldn't drive home. The Florida GM's moves to get Tkachuk and others was ruthless and I like Maurice as a coach finally getting a Cup. Now Drury has to make some moves to take the next step.
