Anyone have an idea of when he will be in Portland? Is he going to be at the 4PM press conference?
I want to try to give him a nice welcome if he is going to be at the practice facility tonight.
 
I kind of figured RoyToy would cower out when called out. Avoid this thread like the plague why don't ya.

I haven't seen you show one sign of admitting you were wrong about your several month long diatribe about how Cho was lousy in your opinion.

Love was an AS and is 22, not really seeing what he has to do with anything.

I gave Cho props in another thread and even added him to my avatar.

Again, your pettyness amuses. Sounds like you're the one that can't let it go.

Now that I found out that Marks was included in the deal, I'm not sure that I can support this trade. ;)

Seriously, though, I hope there's a plan to find a big or two to put on the bench.

Zags was the most anti-LMA poster on this board, but that was before LMA proved himself as a very good player. Now, he gets a do-over, because LMA wasn't good then, but it good now.

Now, he's bashing you for yourself wanting Cho to prove himself before giving him praise. Cho proved himself, and you're giving him praise. It's ironic, but I don't think Zags understands it.
 
Great trade.

I suspect Wallace and that fat contract didn't have much trading value around the league. If this is the most Bobcats could get for Wallace, his contract must have left many GMs in a position they couldn't offer a good young prospect for him.

I read an article today about how mad Cuban was at the NBA for the Landry trade. He basically critized the NBA for taking on salary saying there are so many other teams that are not willing to do taht at this time, how can the NBA ethically do that(basically billing the other owners):

Cuban went on to say that because most of the owners can't take back salary in trades right now, New Orleans shouldn't be able to either.


So I think a large part of this trade is there is only a small pool of teams willing to take on Wallace's contract. And here we are in little old Portland Oregon being one of the few teams willing to take on salary at this juncture of the NBA . . . Thank you Paul Allen (or is that Al Davis, I get confused on this board)

When I read it, I read he had two cats, a 4 month girl and a 3 month boy. I thought he was another Shawn Kemp!

I haven't heard anything about Dalembert being bought out. The Kings will keep him, according to this report
 
Anyhow, thinking about past years, I was opposed to getting Wallace because Batum was always involved as a part of the trade.

Getting Wallace without having to give up Batum? Simple awesome. Cho really did his job well at the deadlline. I can't believe Charlotte gave up Wallace w/out getting Batum.
 
What RoyToy and MediocreMan going to do now? Half of their material is gone.

the top 3 Bigs on the team are Wallace, LA and Camby. I'd bring Wallace off the bench and play him almost exclusively at the 4 sliding LA over to the 5 when Marcus is seated. There are 96 minutes a night at the 4 & 5 spots, give LA 37 GW 35 & MC 28... I'm projecting a few minutes with Wallace at the 3

if Joel is to come back, give Wallace some more SF minutes
