Grizzlies, Hawks & Nets are only ~3 games behind Warriors in overall standings. These are the teams we gotta root for.
 
Though i don't want to see the Warriors pick drop too low. They keep it at #4, and would have another attempt to build a more competitive team.

Portland will probably trade Malcom for Lowry then buy him out. Brogdan on the Hornets would be a tough win. It'd be like watching McCollum & the Pelicans thrashing Elleby & the Blevins Brigade.
 
It may be time to root for the Jazz in order to keep the Warriors out of the play-in. I don't think Houston can do it. I have confidence in the other 9 teams in the West unless they get hit with some major injuries. The Jazz are the weak link especially if they trade Clarkson

the midseason vacation Sixers are on TNT tomorrow night against the Warriors.
 
Philly has the rare opportunity to mess up the Blazers draft picks in b2b nights.
 
House Jr. should not be a starter. I think the Sixers coach is trying to get himself fired.

Both these mediocre playoff wannabes are on winning streaks. It might be a fun & scrappy game to watch.
 
Warriors@Hawks are knotted up at halftime. Clint Capela has a double double already.

That's an off-night for Thybulle at about 17m more.

I believe Steph tied Jordan & Booker with 60+ in a losing game. (2)
 
Brooklyn and LA also won. Excellent day for our pick. Where do you want GS to fall ideally knowing it's top 4 protected. I think as low as 8 or 9 is okay but anything more is pushing it perhaps.

Would kinda be awesome if that pick ended up falling to 5 or 6 and we got it along with a top 3 with our pick. Talk about an injection of talent.

I honestly wouldn't mind it falling into the Top-4. They would have to get 'lucky', but I think they could be even worse next year and the Blazers would own a Top-1 protected pick in a much better Draft.

don't get greedy, snatch that Warriors pick and get outta town. The darlings of the NBA can probably move Wiggins/Klay/Paul for a fresh batch of superstars to give Steph one more run.
