Golden State Warriors pick watch

the Dubs look tough right now. Looney & Green controlling the glass. CP3 and Kuminga playing solid ball. Then of course Steph is doing Curry stuff.

Also got Wiggins back, GP2 healthy, and subtracted Poole. Will take injuries to make this pick better than lower third of the first round.

right now the Warriors hold the 17th Pick. Hopefully they lose a lot more games. They are not that good

Not that I wish anyone to get injured....but one to Curry would keep them from the playoffs based on how deep the West is right now. I can easily count 8 teams who are better right now.

Their schedule to finish November is pretty tough. They could easily go 2-6 or 1-7 to finish the month.

problem with that is that the pick is top-4 protected. If the Warriors are headed for the lottery, and they know it, they will tank as blatantly as they can get away with. It would be just like Portland's luck for the W's to move into the top-4

for sure an 11th pick would be better than a 22nd pick, so maybe Blazer fans should be rooting for that warrior's tank job and praying the lottery balls don't screw them

Definitely worth the risk to root for them to tank. But yeah it would not surprise me if they got lucky and jumped into the top 4.

You guys really think Wemby went to SA because Spurs were "lucky"?

Wow... Dario Saric is only Warrior other than Curry to score 20 this season which he did once.

They are one win over .500 with Curry having played every game this season. Now he's out.

They've been very high in the lottery in two recent years.

This pick looks like it has a chance to be much better than many projected.

The thing is I don’t really think the Warriors could afford to tank. Regardless on if they feel like they can win it this year, Steph will be 36 by the time the playoffs start, and there are only so many years of Steph left. Unless Steph is injured AND out for the year, I don’t think they’ll try to tank, they’ll probably try their best to stay in the play-in to give Steph a chance at the playoffs.

The only reason I think the Warriors would tank is if they know that top 4 pick will be worth something in the trade market. Without even a clear top 3-5, I don’t see them tanking.

But like you said, a late lotto pick (or even just a mid teens pick) is better than bottom of the 1st round.

Is Minnesota really going to choke away this game without Steph, Klay and Draymond playing? It would be too Wolvesy of them.
