Greg Oden: "I'm on schedule to heal."

What's your theory - cursed by witches?

We coincidentalists don't like you conspiracists. God, not the CIA, smote all the witnesses within 2 years of the Kennedy assassination. That statistician with his 100 billion to 1 odds was working for the Devil.

An honest, albeit disturbing, reply. :devilwink:

Don't be jealous because his weiner is bigger.

That's it!

His unbalanced gait causes his, um, "impressive tripod" to swing wildly and shatter his kneecaps!

I'll warn you though....he isn't going to like any of the proposed solutions! :devilwink:

You think that was an honest reply?

You think that was an honest reply?

No, but I thought it was pretty funny.

(just don't start quoting Pesci from "Goodfellas". "I'm funny how? Like a clown? I AMUSE you?")

(and while we are on the subject - was KP's demise like the way Pesci got whacked in "Goodfellas", or more like the way he got whacked in "Casino"?)

Maybe Charles Ingles can make Greg a magic shoe so he can run and jump and dance and play with all the other kids and not be laughed at and everyone will be happy and love one another.

Maybe. Could happen.

Magic legs?

Nice. Make 'em big!

Casually noted self-appointed mathman and statistician "insider" (most insiders after all, do commonly refer to themselves as an "insider"), who makes a living crunchin' numbers and has numerous degrees on the walls of his office, has failed to address how Amare and Oden can be compared with such variances in basic probabilities of playing time, number of injuries, severity of injury and the fact that Amare played in 82 games his rookie season, 55 games the following season, then returned to play 80 games the following year.

Dude did Oden bone your girlfriend? Insider was of course comparing similar but not identical situations as no two players have identical injury histories. You're just being a nit picker and you know it. You are the sort who wants Oden (and by extension the team) to fail in order to prove you are right about your petty theory. Weak dude like your avatars haircut.

"Nit picking" is now pointing out that the post in question completely disregarded Amare Stoudemire's rookie season.

Do you suppose you can make counterpoints without throwing in silly and useless things such as "did Oden bone your girlfriend"? For all of the whining you do about other posters, you sure seem to enjoy partaking in the same sort of insults.

Of course. Of course he was. However, the "comparing" involved not counting an entire season (and additional injuries) and he has not responded to my post after he boldly called me and a few others something like 'extreme idiots'. It's odd that nit-picking has replaced what was formerly known as message board discussions. Regarding your comment on wanting failure, I would wager, with confidence, I've been supporting the Blazers for longer than you and likely have attended more games. Trust me, the last thing I want is the failure of a team I've supported since the 70's. You know, one of the interesting things in this discussion is that those who are critical of Oden, don't call those of opposite opinion, "Oden Lovers" but, if someone is critical, as I have been since pre-draft, the best you offer is juvenile attacks, name calling and being labeled not just Oden haters but now, in essence, Blazer haters....

But, mature posting. Your educated and articulate conveyance of thought and idea is unique and refreshing. Stay classy...
