GO BLAZERS!!!

Good guys haven't beaten a WC playoff team since Jan 18th though. Tonight would be a great time to start. Huge swing game. We either open up a 4 game lead over Mem, or they cut it to 2.

Win tonight and even if we finished 3-4 in final 7 games, Mem would have to go 8-1 to knock us out (since they own tiebreaker). We've played so bad against Mem this year, but they are 30-12 since Jan 1st. They are probably fighting for HCA right now if not for injuries. You know they're going to come out swinging after dropping last game to GS. May come down to whether our 3s are falling or not. Big game!

Tough matchup because Memphis will go stretches where they don't double on LA and just have Gasol guard him one-on-one. That leaves the rest of the Blazers needing to create for themselves and that has not boded well for them all season.

They need this game in a big way but much like how we match up well with the Spurs, we do not have the same beneficial status against the Grizz.

:matrix:

Need to build momentum with this last stretch, and we owe these guys. Unlike the last time Memphis was in town, we should NOT spot them a 12-0 lead.

Damn....... big game tonight! Glad LA is back.

I look for the starters to come out swinging tonight! Every game from here on is important and we're playing good defense at the right time. Go Blazers!

I'll be at the game tonight! We are 2-1 so far to the games I've attended. We need this win

It was a bit of an ordeal but I'm finally in. Had to wait 20mins before they would issue me press credentials. I really need to do a criminal background check on myself.

For those of you in the over/under contest I'm sitting at the very top of the 200 section. So far alone... by myself... but I have my laptop, a little TV showing ESPN highlights and my new glasses! Yes, the last time I sat in the 200 level I realized that my eyesight isn't exactly what it used to be so I decided to get the eyes checked and... glasses!

One of the best things about having press credentials is you are allowed to roam anywhere! (Except the Blazer, visitor or Blazer dancers locker rooms.) So I just finished with a delicious and entertaining interview with the owners of Killer Burger!

Hey, why pay to eat in the press room with Jaynes and Canzano when you can get the first burger fresh off the grill!

Where ya sitting? I turned down 5th row center court to sit up here on the Isle of Misfit Press.

Where is everyone at in the game thread?

The blimp is flying! (Oh wait, I'm in press row, I'm not suppose to get excited by such things.)

Speaking of press row, it's filling up. Willamette Week, Portland Mercury and two guys from Comcast are here. I asked the two Comcast guys if either of them were the ones posting in the forum and they both looked at me like I had the plague.

Would u mind kicking that bald fat guy in the balls for me?

One of the things I was told is that I'm not allowed to take picture of the game or players. I'm not sure if that means the video score board? I wonder if I can take picture of their picture of the game and players?

Jaynes doesn't sit up in the Isle of Misfit Press, he's down in the 100 level. I have no idea who these two other Comcast guys are.

The stream I'm watching doesn't have commercials so you can hear the announcers during breaks.

Barrett just said "I don't have a lot of confidence about this one", and Rice just chuckled.

We better show the intensity of the biggest game of the year....

haha wow. That's fantastic, and not surprising at all.

It's really a playoff game, to some degree. Beat Memphis, and the playoffs are almost a lock, barring an 0-7 collapse to end the season.

Okay televised game - don't disappoint me! Go Blazers!

Does anyone have a lot of confidence about this one? I see it as a 50/50 game, unless the Blazers have found something the last two games and it elevates their level of play.

I'm sitting next to some guy from SBNation, has a large notebook full of play diagrams from both teams. I guess this is that real press looks like, lol.

Lillard needs to tighten up this SLOP as playoff time nears, dumb plays back to back

Something weird is going on between LMA and Randolph. Lots of physical play between them.
