It wouldn't be a classic LA interview without the "ya knows".

my count on that post game: 21 "ya knows".

:D
Go Blazers.

lol... GS lost to NY in their house.

PHX down 15 to LAL... this could be really, really good.

Just finished up with the Stotts press conference. Recorded it, hopefully it turns out good. Pretty short and sweet. Stotts was happy with how the team played. I'm not the Quick hater that some of you are, he's always been personable and friendly with me. I think he's working on a story about when Stotts coached Mo previously in Milwaukie. The Mo then vs the Mo today.

Anyway, now comes the long awkward time for me and my press credentials. As soon as the press conference with Stotts was over the real media (not forum scum such as myself) all rush back into the locker room like a herd of.... not sure what the herd is but it has a Dwight Jaynes in it so herd works. I have no media locker room access so I sit here.

It's interesting to watch this lady wheel in a keg and kegarator into the press room after the game. No one helps her but she seems to slowly get it in here.

So there seems to be different divisions or levels of media. One level gets free press room pre game buffet. A different level gets locker room access. An even different level gets free beers after the game. Some have all three of these levels, some have two, some have one. I, your RipCityTwo media representative have none of these levels, accesses, etc.

No free beer, no locker room, but I had prearranged an interview with Killer Burger before the game so I didn't need or want their buffet. (I wouldn't have gotten it free but I could have purchased it for $9.)

Anyway, still waiting to see if I get a free Wesley Matthews glass. I wonder if I can get a free Wesley Matthews glass filled with a free post game beer?

Excitement!

MB is here, he gets a free beer and some sort of free hamburger.

Good news!

The beer lady has taken pity on me and bestowed a free beer to me!

So I have sort secret free beer access. I'm quickly moving up in the media ranks.

Sly is always making the story about himself..... such a Canzano.

Postgame Notes have just been released.

Portland's 105 points are the most against Memphis during all of March. Memphis entered today best in the West in points allowed per game (94.0).

Portland's win tonight snaps Memphis' five-game winning streak in the series between the teams. The Grizzlies won this season's series, 2-1.

The Trail Blazers finished the game with a 52.0% mark from the field, their best shooting night since Feb. 26 vs. Brooklyn (53.5%)

The Trail Blazers bench scored 23 points on 10-for-14 field goal shooting to go with 13 rebounds in the first half. Mo Williams (5-5 FG) and Thomas Robinson (4-4 FG) combined to make all nine of their field goal attempts off the bench in the first half. Portland's bench ended the game with 30 points.

Damn you Nate, professional press such as myself are not suppose to laugh out loud at things posted on internet forums. Stop it! You're making me look bad.

Game Notes Continued...

Mo Williams scored 17+ points for the eighth time this season. Six of those eight games have come since the All-Star break.

Robin Lopez is just the forth Trail Blazer to record 300 offensive rebounds in a season (K. Washington, B. Williams, C. Dudley). He is one of only two NBA players with 300+ offensive rebounds this season (Andre Drummond).

Robin Lopez is the first NBA player with 300+ offensive rebounds and 130+ blocks in a season since Dwight Howard in 2010-11.

Robin Lopez finished in double figures in rebounds for the 31st time this year.

Robin Lopez is one tough mother f'er!

After making all five of his free throw attempts tonight, Wesley Matthews has now made 36 consecutive free throws, dating back to march 14 at New Orleans.

Damian Lillard scored all 13 of his points in the second half.

Nicolas Batum scored or assisted on each of Portland't first four basketets of the game.

Just counted, tonight from various game notes, previous box scores, player stats and team stats for both teams, in depth information on the next upcoming game against the Lakers the Blazers have given me 109 pieces of paper. 109!

Chad In Portland was just here next to me. He had a pocket full of locker room quotes for his show tomorrow. Bastard!

He asked Kerry Eggers for his email address and Kerry said it's on the Tribune website. Ouch!

That's about one piece of paper per pt. I'm wanting to know if Lopez leads the league in free throw percentage for a starting center

One more reason you can tell that I am not real press. I tipped the beer lady $3 when she gave me my beer. I haven't seen anyone in the press tip her yet. So add tipping to the list of things that press don't do. No cheering, no wearing Blazer swag, no first pumps or high fives and no tipping.

I had a neighbor and friend decades ago who was a retired dealer in a Vegas casino...he said the art of tipping is what makes career gamblers stay in the game.

Final quotes from the coaches are out! I think I'm going to go home.

You should return to the office. Your moderating shift isn't up.

Does that mean his last miss was against Houston? You remember, the one that cost us the game?

I'd say lesson learned by Wes.
